Talkin' 'bout my dissertation - speak your brains
This is a shout out to ... everyone really, to humbly beg for your opinions on a series of short stories which appear (amongst occasional book and film reviews) on my blog, the *coff* wittily named "Talkin' 'bout my dissertation".
It's for my MA dissertation (hence the name), deadline September 6. Story with the most votes goes in, and I'll report back when I get my final mark. Kind of like very slow, academic, reality TV.

Me and Mom
My mom likes to think that she is some sort of marijuana expert. She smoked pot with my friends when I was in high school. They called her the pot professor, she liked that. They came over every day after school. My mom laid everything out on the table. Four little baggies of pot all lined up in a row and labeled. Her bongs and pipes sat next to the baggies. They would smoke pot and watch M.A.S.H. until my dad got home.
