Arrrrrrgh! Eco Tours & Uluru in Australia!
Are these people completely insensitive and insane!!!!!
So can you tell me:
a) Is it OK or Not to climb Uluru (Ayres Rock)?
b) Which Eco Tour operators are for real and actually give a damn?
c) Which Eco Tour operators should I avoid like the plague?
d) Is there any point trying to do an Eco Tour or are they just a scam to make money out of people thinking they are doing something for the envrionment?
e) Does anyone know of a centre for information on Aboriginal culture that could help me on this point? Or any links on Aboriginal culture that might be useful?
f) If you can help me out and live in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne (or maybe even Alice Springs if we get that far) I'll buy you a beer/coffe juice of your choice for your trouble.
