Just saw the recent toilet roll fiasco. That was funny and (SHOCK!) BB has a sense of humour?

e.g. Derrick quessing which famous horse BB was thinking about to win them some bog-roll:

Derrick: "Killkenny?"
BB: "Who's Kenny?"
Derrick: "Killkenny?"
BB: "Why, what's he done?"

And Derrick getting the Lone Ranger and John wayne confused is mildly entertaining as well.

So Kinga's back in. Good. I might want her to win...

Sadly, she didn't do one thing: The moment she walked into the house she should have sat on Anthony's face, thereby causing him to explosively ejaculate while simultaneously causing Craig's head to explode and creating the Greatest TV Moment of 2005.

11.55 July 31.

It has been weeks now. Weeks. I embarked on this journey at peril of my immortal soul, it appears. It has become... stranger, with the passing of time. Very deep in dark territory now. It is harder and harder to form thoughts. God forgive me, but having watched Kinga 'work the room' to the tune of 'Sex Bomb' by Tom Jones, I would so dearly, so very, very dearly, like to... cut her up, I suppose. I suppose I'd like to just cut her up.

I guess I'd start with the vocal chords...

Oh dear. I've got to vote for Craig now:

Graig: "If I win it will be the first time in my life that I've been accepted."

Apparently, he's had a lot of shit to deal with. Bless him. I can't believe I'm typing this, but I'm almost serious!

I'm very suprised (and glad) that Kinga is getting on well with Derek.
I'm also enjoying listening to the clockwork tick of Craig and Makosi's mind as they try to ascertain their outward popularity through Kinga's attitudes. That sound really is audible.
To paraphrase Makosi she is brimming with information and this is her only natural resource which I think M/C will attempt to siphon in any possible way. She seems pretty wise to this but I still feel sorry for her being thrown to the wolves in this way.

I can imagine that the Big Brother experience has been very much about acceptance for Craig pw but it has also been about groping Anthony inappropriately, airing some extremely dodgy political views and being a manipulative horrible little shit.

I do know what you mean though, he actually made me laugh out loud today God help me.

Apparently, he's had a lot of shit to deal with.

Translating this from Craigspeak into English, what it most likely means is that he knows other people who've had a lot of shit to deal with and has decided to adopt their tales of terrible woes as his own.

Ahhh....Bless him.

Craig's going to have a nervous breakdown when he comes out and discovers what most people seem to think about him. I hope for his sake he's not a 'Lither....or even that he is, reads this thread, realises that he's a bit of a tit, PM's Ganesh, and begs him for mentoring / self-develpment services.

Ahhh....Bless him.

I particularly like that incarnation of Big Brother. It's the one that had the date with Anthony, and betrays more of a sense of humour and personality than I thought the producers were allowed.

Where have you been? Big Brother's had an excellent sense of humour this year, particularly Deadpan Geordie Big Brother. He was Anthony's date, too.

Snugglesome Eugene story:

"My problem is, I could explain to you in reasonable detail how this TV camera works but, let's be honest about it, I don't know how to behave at a party," said Eugene.

He continued: "I've got the brains but haven't necessarily used them in the right way. Only since coming out of university have I started to master the art of socialising."

yeh, speshally given that she should really be working eugene and makosi to not-evict her. makosi should be the easy touch there, she's had to pick kinga for eviction once before and was aware of how basically arbitrary and unfair she was being, i don't know if she'll do it again. so derek and craig up this week i'm guessing, craig to go if there is any goodness in the universe. (nommos are already done though probably aren't they? ah well.)

I think Craig'll get out of this one too sadly - Makosi & Derek are my thoughts or Kinga & Derek- they generally turn on newbies quite quickly i think she'll get a vote from everyone...

I wouldn't trust Makosi with nominations. I think she's right not to target her. I don't understand why she's been so cold to Eugene though, that's a mistake, he's far more likely to be kind to her.

ihatehimihatehimihatehimihatehim.

How dare he say he needs to be accepted. He can't even admit that his parents accept him, he's such a fucking bastard. ARGH!

This is the most difficult show to watch at the moment between "I am crazy" from Kinga, "I will be accepted" from Craig and Makosi sobbing about her ugliness (presumably because she had failed to draw her eyebrows on possibly) I am losing my mind.

And yet now I long for those more innocent days when it was just snogging...

Agree about Craig...I feel like he's beating other people round the head with the 'oh I'm such a victim' for sympathy.

God forbid that anyone does what he wants them to do and watches him on BB to learn from his approach to dealing with his 'sexuality'. Only he seems to want to maintain that it is an issue in there, as everyone else in the house doesn't bat an eyelid.

The Derek Kinga friendship is interesting. He just had a heated discussion with Makosi, which he handled terribly and turned in to an argument. He was annoyed with everyone in the house so he latches on to the new person. So they dance around and are all happy together and then Kinga goes straight to the diary room and talks about how she is playing him.

Jesus. Even I've started watching it now. Primarily, I hasten to add, because it seems like the backstory to the best serial killer movie I have yet to see, and the reconstructions just aren't gonna do it justice.

But... those of you who've always watched every series... is it always this fucked up? Is this year typical, an aberration, or a continuation of how it's been before? Cos quite frankly I'm gobsmacked. (And that is a serious question, btw).

Agreed. Presumably she's been watching this show a lot recently, on about how she coulda been a contender, with a tear-stained family tub of double chocoloate choclate chocolate chip ice cream to hand. So if she's under the impression that Derrick's to be trusted (he spouts oil, and then once you've invested, he goes dry! Cheers!) she... well she just hasn't being paying attention really, has she?

Bye bye Kinga come Friday, I fear.

It's not always quite as aggressive but it usually is this fucked up in one way or another. It's just what happens when people are in such close quarters and haven't chosen their companions. After all it can get pretty bad when you think your housemates are okay...

Currently Anthony is patiently explaining to Kinga why he will not be "showing her a good time" and "getting his cock out on live tv" again. Very calm. As if chastising a child.

Makosi and Kinga

It's seeing photos like this that make me so profoundly glad I'm not under 24 hour surveillance.
In other news -

Kinga to Craig : What's your sexuality then?
Craig : I don't want to talk about it. I'm sure there are people watching this in the same situation as me and I want them to draw strength from my example. So I don't talk about it.

Words, at times, fail me.

It seems starting to watch this was a terrible mistake. I still feel soiled after watching last night's ceaseless aquatic harassment of Anthony. His defiant football-playing was nice while it lasted, though.

No one on the outside of the house knows Craig's sexuality because he's never explicitly stated it. Apart from the times he has.

I don't know why I'm always amazed by the general stupidity of BB contestants. Kinga appears to believe that being sly and sneaky will appeal to the viewers, despite all the evidence to the contrary. It may well get you some support, but that'll be fleeting and won't get you anywhere near to the win.

Or maybe it will, I don't know. Coming in so late, she at least has a relative surplus of energy and enthusiasm on her side. Her willingness to get so into her 'secret mission' is fairly entertaining, even if it is more the result of her simplicity than anything else (nice cutting in the highlights show - where previously she'd had to have the mission explained to her repeatedly and slowly before she grasped how she'd ensure her immunity from eviction this week, in the highlights show she understood it immediately).

And the Sniveller's glorious return to the World of Blub the other night is only going to have further drained any sympathy that a few remaining people may have felt for him, surely? Attempts to appear mysterious or make himself out to be a role model only make him more repellent.
