i'm a little worried that the 'ah, bless' factor might swoop in and rescue craig, maybe propel him to bb championhood.

Well, that's not going to happen now. And thank fuck for that.

Really, that was horrible. On a par with Fight Night, both in terms of how uncomfortably hypnotising it was to watch and in it being a scene which the show's producers really should have stepped in to call a halt to.

That was unbelievable. Craig was so mean and on the live feed he just said "Oh Anthony, I was looking after you" at which point the desire to scream he was not looking after you, he was jerking you around and making you throw up more and he almost tried to kiss you and he wouldn't let you curl up on the floor when you were dying to and when you said leave me alone he DIDN'T.

Craig is so fucked up.

Craig to Anthony: "we're not gonna have many more opportunities to do it, are we?"

Craig you're not going to have any opportunities to do it.

That was very very funny- i liked the other house mates reaction-

'he won't leave him alone & what is wrong with that boy...'

will they finally nominate him?

I very much doubt it- i think we'll have Craig in the final week... but what a joy it will be when he thinks he's loved cos he's done his stretch but he's greeted with Boos and Hindley wigs.

Last's night's was possibly the most difficult to watch yet....Craig is so awful, I was secretly hoping that Anthony would hit him.

Anthony is going to feel so dirty when he gets out and watches all of that back, knowing that Craig's hands were all over him...and what was with Craig's insistence that he must "watch Anthony all night"? Very creepy...couldn't help but sort of imagine Craig sitting next to Anthony watching him sleep whilst touching himself in bad places.

Oh.

For.

Fuck's.

Sake.

That was physically painful to watch, really distressing. Forget Myra Hindley, this was Kathy-Bates-in-Misery crossed with Jeffrey Fucking Dahmer. Short of actually hamstringing Anthony or attempting a burrhole-plus-acid home lobotomy, I'm not sure Craig's behaviour could've been more inappropriate. The man was pissed. He needed to a) get to the toilet when he felt like puking (this might've avoided barfy carpet), and b) subsequently lie down somewhere quiet, with a basin beside the bed and a glass of water to hand.

Craig seemed adept at simultaneously spinning a Craig-centred drama from a non-crisis and establishing, when Anthony said he wanted to see a doctor, that it was enough of a non-crisis not to need medical attention. It did, however, require Craig's pawing, groping 'cuddles' until Anthony had nothing left to vomit up. Did Craig actually carry out his threat to 'shower' Anthony? By that stage, it was veering dangerously close to non-consensual assault...

As well as the inappropriate touching/groping (even when Anthony clearly articulated his wish that Craig leave him alone), I was disturbed by the degree of emotional manipulation going on - the "oh, look what you've done now, you're sitting in your own sick" (and if, as appeared to be the case, Craig prevented Anthony from getting to the toilet, he's at least partly responsible for Anthony's humiliatingly public hughie). Utterly vile, reprehensible behaviour, on a par with stopping a child accessing the toilet then punishing them for crapping themselves.

Ugh. And the worst of it is, Craig will subsequently reconfigure the twisted debacle so he was Anthony's saviour, his Only Friend In The House.

Get him out.

Agreed. God help me, but I was actually wishing Anthony were more actively, physically homophobic than he is. His vulnerability to Craig's The Collector creepiness was excrutiating.

the sitting room looks like it stinks pretty bad already. top moment, i think, was the puke-strewn antnee's last-minute 'come hither' gesture to makosi. shame craig didn't see it.

can anyone help suss this bit out, before Anthony left the table Kermal & Makosi were complaining about smelling sick- then as craig carried anthony out for private molestation he had some rather nasty stains down the back of his jacket- was anthony sick during "Cuddles".

I want me mum and nan

I'm sure Anthony will be thankful for Eugenes intervention (let him go in the diary room alone...being the most cringeworthy moment) when he watches back the footage, and i'm sure that the friendship will breakdown pretty quickly after leaving the house.

do we think things will ever get so bad that Anthony realises and nominates Craig? or is he such a wet mummys boy that he feels he needs the back up and support that Craig gives him- at whatever cost

Caught a bit of this last night, and was slack-jawed. As I think someone’s already pointed out, if this had been a straight man and a drunken woman, Endemol almost certainly would have intervened… and I like to think that the housemates would have too.

Eugene, to his credit, seemed to grasp the wrongness of it, but seemed unable to properly act. Still, at least he gave it a stab, as opposed to lying in bed and playing-at-being-concerned-and-conflicted as the others did.

Was quite mesmerised by this, which is more than I can say about this year’s series generally, but for all the wrong reasons; out of revulsion as opposed to interest in the people involved.

And not just because of the yellow pants.

I think that Annthony had been sick down the back of Craig's jacket during *hugs*.

But then let's face it if anyone is going to be able to induce a acute feeling of nausea with their proximity it's going to be Craig.

"Wet mummy's boy" is, to my mind, rather a harsh way of putting it; it suggests an undesirable lack of 'properly' masculine traits. Anthony has, I understand, been brought up in a mainly female household, so in this regard, yes, he's a "mummy's boy". I'd argue that his patience and sensitivity with Craig are not necessarily "wet"/undesirable - although, exploited by an individual as self-centred and unboundaried as Craig, they're starting to cost Anthony dear.

I'm not sure how he'll see it when he gets out and views the footage. One of Anthony's problems in the House is that, now Maxwell's gone, he has little or no frame of reference for 'normal' blokey behaviour. I think he regards Craig as an exotic species whose habits he ought to tolerate. And yes, I think he probably does derive a degree of emotional support from Craig. If Craig were evicted, however, I think Anthony would be perfectly able to bond with other housemates.

I suspect that, once Anthony's (male) friends clue him in on how inappropriate Craig's behaviour has actually been, he'll be a little less keen to be bestest friends with the Sniveller.

Of course, this is all assuming Craig doesn't manage to get hold of chloroform, and take the opportunity to lock Anthony up in a trunk so no big hunk can steal him away from him.

It seems that maybe big brother did intervene:

From the Sun:

Craig then put Anthony to bed — telling him: “I ain’t sleeping. I’m going to sit and watch you.”

He curled himself around his heartthrob before being called to the Diary Room by Big Brother after Eugene told him to give him some space.

I would love to see that diary room moment- although I suspect it will never see the light of day...

Strange that the producers picked Eugene to intervene in that situation though - It could well have resulted in an open catfight between her and Craig, but given her medical training and everything, wouldn't Makosi have been a more appropriate choice?

"Wet mummy's boy" is, to my mind, rather a harsh way of putting it;

from the C4 Website:
Anthony says he is a stranger to housework. His family wash, cook and clean for him, while his grandmother irons his "pulling outfit"

This for a 23 year old strikes me as bit wet, and a bit of a mummys boy, ie he's not adult enough to care for himself as most 23 year olds are, sorry if I didn't make it clear enough- I was refering to his lack of adult ability rather than lack of masculine traits. Thus without a Craig or someone to care for him he's on his own.

Just reading through C4 stuff and apparently Eugene tells antnee he's Boring... its getting good again folks...

As I think someone’s already pointed out, if this had been a straight man and a drunken woman, Endemol almost certainly would have intervened… and I like to think that the housemates would have too.

.. but not interestingly enough if it was the other way round. If it was a girl fawning over a drunken boy like that, I really don't think they would have stopped it.

It was awful watching that, so much the worse for Anthony trying very politely (even though battered) to tell Craig to fuck off, and then to have Craig acting like a martyr – “don’t worry – I’ll look after him”.

Anthony to win! Bless him

Thing is, almost anyone else would have backed off, surely, once their inamorata had thrown up on them not just once, but twice?

As predicted up-thread though, on last night's live feed Craig was attempting to spin the whole sorry episode to his advantage - 'I was the only one helping you, nobody else would. I had to keep an eye on you all night...' etc, Anthony, for fairly understandable reasons, being unable to remember a thing.

Long may that happy condition persist, little Anthony...

The kindest explanation as far as the voting public is concerned is that they decided, quite rightly, that the house is now a terrible, terrible place to be in, and therefore Kemal deserves to be liberated from it and Orlaith kept in.

That, or they just don't like a cock in a frock. The boos are in the minority but sound like the work of people with some strength of feeling.

Is this the first year of Big Brother with no heroes, but several villains? (The Cameron year had neither, as I remember.)
