Glastonbury and unsustainable environments... or something like that...
I’m not sure what my question is exactly, or if I really have one. I suppose I’m just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything similar, and what did you take from it?
Perhaps also a more general query, that what do you think creates such an environment and do you think it can be successfully maintained?

Watch the Skies!!!--and related topics
So hey there—this thread was originally about weather, but since no one seemed to care to relate their experiences with this ubiquitous phenomena, I thought I’d shift the direction a little katta and instead thought we could discuss not only weather, but other phenomena and experiences related to the sky. So, where before this abstract had merely (and mostly) read:
“The weather. I’ve been inspired by the Summer Solstice to start a thread about the weather—right where we find ourselves now. I mean, the weather is something that we all have in common, the simply difference is degree and type. We commonly will talk about the weather to strangers since it is something we can all easily identify and relate to. The weather can further give us something to feel alternatively either good or bad about. For example, I don’t like winter so much and tend to get a little bummed out at the short hours of daylight, but in summer I feel great! A different but related example, suppose I am talking to my friend out in Vancouver on the phone and he says it’s a beautiful day out there, but here it’s rainy and cold. This exchange invokes images in my mind about how I could be skateboarding down Hastings right now, but instead I’m cooped up in my house writing about the weather; thus, I am envious of the weather he is experiencing and he has something to feel “superiour” or “happier” about. Therefore, the weather is really a great thing to discuss and we are all open in our relating to experiences of weather…”
In the spirit of going on up to the spirit in the sky let’s talk about, if you care to, relations you have not only with the weather, but also the sky in general—again, the sky is something we can all relate to in some way or another!
