Not since the heady days of Great Sezer have I witnessed such housemate disdain. Maaaaadd Jayne has really shot herself in the foot with her behaviour tonight. Whoever pulls Aisleyne out of her pit of sorrow will be presented in a terrific light in tomorrow night's highlight's show. If it's either Richard or Lea, it could swing the vote considerably.

And know what you mean about Spiral. Liking him currently but hadn't had a fond thought of him until he defended Ais in the DR. And he continues to show compassion and defend her in the new house, heedless that these are the people who nominated her for eviction a week ago. Unlike Jayne who's going from housemate to housemate bitching about Aisleyne and finding little response but from the usual suspects.

One small blessing is that Michael hasn't been in my face either. Maybe his ego has exploded and he's trapped under some furniture somewhere.

Jayne's been doing some impressive back-pedalling, if that "yeah, that was all genuine" snippet was anything to go by. I suspect it's more because it's finally dawned on her that it's neither the time nor place for expounding upon Aisleyne's eeevil fakery, and it's turning people off her.

Funny, much as I hate him, I'm actually disappointed in Mikey. He was great with drunken Glyn (as was Richard, though we didn't get to see it on the highlights) and I was starting to put him in the box marked "total cock, but he'd be alright if you needed help". He's now in the box marked something very similar, but with the words "if you're a bloke, or possibly someone he wants to fuck" appended.

Mikey's possibly suspicious of Aisleyne because, like Richard's level of campness, her emotional distress isn't at a constant level. This means crying may be a cunning tool Aisleyne is employing to make her appear less dangerous than she is. He's not being fooled.

I was getting quite worried that the counselling (or whatever it was) was going on so long that it would start to distance Aisleyne further from the group when she eventually rejoined; it would've reformed without her. I'm really glad she's back - and they've given her time for her eyes to stop being red.

Nikki's pissing me off now. Good on Dickie and Suzie for at least trying to put her I-can't-be-myself-around-Aisleyne in perspective.
