Jus keeping the Grace hate alive folks.

grace doesn't deserve to be hated, she might conceivably carve a career out of that. She deserves to be forgotten, like the slightly annoying classmate whose name you can't even remember anymore.

I thought I'd seen new housenextdoormate Michael somewhere here on barbelith, so with my slow internet connection I sat through all 43 pages of the photos thread in convosation. Nothing. I'm going to my Mums for a hug and some rice pudding.

Michael has shaved his face and reminded me that pretty much every man looks better with a beard.

Akira, your devotion deserves more than a rice pudding. It deserves two, nay, three helpings of rice pudding. Ooh, Jayne has gone into the real Big Brother house. Is she permitted to tell them about the White Queen's Hellfire Club-house?

After watching the BB diary room for the day that A was evicted, I have solved the mystery of Pete & his sexuality. He is obviously using Tourette's as a mask. In reality, he is a member of London's small 'Toon community, and the reason he isn't attracted to anyone in the house is that he is only attracted to other 'Toons.

His description of Nikki's advances made me think that I was watching some 2006 Merry Melodies cartoon. Although he himself seems to be a hybrid of human/'Toon interfacing, he doesn't seem to go both ways sexually.

Also, this would explain why Lea has such an inexplicable hold over him, as she has modified herself to appear more 'Toon-like.

As for Baby GayBear, hirsute or not he is edible. I think that Richard might be interested in a little Tantric "massage" after being in the house with no stimulation, but have to agree that Dickie will be may find Jonathan backside too, too mesmerizing.

Sounds like Michael isn't in the slightest bit interested in Dickie though.

Best Nikki strop evah! I can't get my MP3 player to work. It's so unfair!

The funniest bit though was: Would Nikki please come to the diary room? Nikki stumbles blindly about the livingroom, complaining and trying to find diary room. Big Brother: Would Nikki please take off her blindfold and come to the diary room?

I'm sore laughing.

According to a DS who met him at the auditions, Spoooiiiral is sticking it to Teh Man through the medium of Nike-shod rap.

Why why why why whyyy did you shave your beard off, Baby GayBear? You don't remind me of Ben Browder anymore.

Can anyone confirm rumours I caught on the front of The Sun as I was grabbing my paper this morning that Aisleyne's twigged that the people she's evicting are going into the main house and that she's getting the remainder to draw straws?

It's The Sun, and so therefore speculates wilder than me on a Doctor Who thread.

Nice to see Lea keeping that paranoia in check with the new housemate. "Jayne has been watching for the past 6 weeks! Jayne has a g*mep***! Jayne is a reptiloid member of the Royal Family! 11! 23!"

Mourne Kransky

Seems Aisleyne knows Jayne did not leave in the back of a council refuse cart but was merely translated next door because she has heard the loud one's stenorian tones through the walls.

Beginning to find Michael irritating.

Spoiral's from Finglas, according to one of Sunday's red-tops. Just after doing some more rooting around and it turns out that he has released a demo CD of the same name.

the bread and circus element is really becoming apparent now (not that it was ever hidden). who can say entertainment isn't political?

Have you got inside information, goldfish? When do they feed Nikki to the Lions? I can see Richard and Pete as Vorenus and Pullo in the arena. Dealing ruthlessly with a crazed, paranoid Lea.

Scratch that, Pete would be rubbish. Even if his life depended upon it.

It's just that Winston Smith kept flashing in the back of my mind as i watched the new house being revealed. presumably adding new housemates arbitrarily is going to extend the time the housemates can be detained indefinitely. does that remind you of anything else that's going on?

Nah, I'm guessing the realities of scheduling mean it'll run for just as long as it was supposed to. And bear in mind, they had some to replace anyway.

Just expect some double evictions or a larger-than-usual finale.

I'd like a surprise eviction. - That, or don't tell which of them are up for eviction, until Davina tells them to get up and face the music.

OOOOOOKAAAAAAAY...

I've been working the last few nights, and have not actually seen any of the new HMs until tonight...

but Spiral really is as much of a dick as you (well, to be fair, I)'d expect someone calling himself Spiral to be, isn't he?

Well, Jayne ought to be right at home in the main house, what with the perceptive powers to spot "fake" and "two-faced" people.

Spoiral's something of an idiot, and is one of those contestants that uses agression to win arguments. Hopefully someone fucks around with his food and laughs it off saying "Ah come on Spiral, it's only a bloody plate of pasta, why you getting bothered?".

Ahh, a whole new group of people to hate. That'll maintain the energy.

I'm nearly as excited about the Return of the Queen as I am about the final ep. of Doctor Who. Because, of course, I expect Nikki to show her dislike of Aisleyne as she has done consistantly throughout the show.

Cause she's not two-faced. Oh lordy no.

I'm liking imagining that "gone next door" is some horrible euphemism, like "passed on", or (Ken McLeod novels) "gone up the line"- they're either dead, or have been enlisted in some unimaginable cosmic conflict.

"Oh yes, I used to have a brother... but, well, he 'went next door'..." (everyone goes quiet).

I don't think we're going to be seeing tooo much of Jayne in the future. Can she be nominated for eviction this week? I can't imagine anyone wanting to live with her for very long...

oh, except for Nikki. For now at least.

"I've heard of Slough"...

I adore Nikki. I also adore God, for having given me a life in which it seems unlikely I'll ever have to live with her.
