No but it's pretty obvious that he finds it more difficult than is average to judge social situations.

Welcome to Barbelith, Eugene. You'll be very happy here.

Why no live feed? Has cannibalism finally descended on the Big Brother House?

Random thoughts:

Kinga is the Krokodile.

"Sex the old-fashioned way gets a bit boring," said Craig. "These people who say they're 100 percent straight are always the ones."

Or possibly the One.

I think it's because of the cricket. That's what they said on Digital Spy, anyway.

Krokodile? What krokodile? And what's with the spelling of krokodile? Are you moving to Poland?

I think Eugene's autistic traits are relatively mild, and are in danger of being overemphasised.

I believe this is much of it. The guy's just a nerd amidst a group of more sociable (not necessarily nicer) people which is making his social skills look worse via contrast.

Could Haus be meaning Krokodil from the Dark Future series, as ably rendered by 'Crack Smoker Of The Year 1989' Jack Yeovil?

I can only hope so.

yeah, 'nesh, you're right. i guess it was just the continual demands for emotional rescue from Craig that got to me (especially when said demands are accompanied by a Total Absence of Empathy on his part).

the way the little fink twisted Eugene's noble act - which, let's remember, Eugene himself avoided turning into a big deal (and even apologised to the group *and* Makosi for) - was profoundly distasteful.

this man must not, i repeat, NOT be give a chat show that is 'in-depth but also fun like Jerry Springer meets Vanessa'. imagine the horror, the banality, the horror:

"After the break I'll be speaking to three people who've suffered hideous abuse. But they're not emotional. I'm emotional. No one in this studio knows what *I've* gone through..." etc.

Craig "The one person I don't want to win is Eugene...that would destroy me. I'd be really upset and I don't think that would be fair"

Well I think that may have secured it for Eugene! It certainly has for me, I hope they broadcast this- everyone needs to hate craig in his final week to ensure a very big BOO!

its gonna be very very funny when he's evicted- do we think Craig or Kinga to go on Wednesday (or even both in a suprise twist- as I remember the final normally has just the 3 house mates...)

World, the time has come to push the (redial) button.

(And I don't mean for Makosi either...)

it wd be incredibly satisfying if craig's unpopularity and mean-spiritedness in targeting Eugene made the latter's victory even more likely.

i can't help but think that the final result actually depends on Craig - Anthony's on course to win, but if their special friendship takes an unexpected turn or gets ugly (again) it cd see the Geordie fail at the last.

i assume that if Anthony ever did hit Craig - which didn't actually seem even a remote possibility until very recently with the combination of ramped-up last-week stressssss and Craig's open-heart surgery - he'd be plucked straight out regardless of what the public thinks. so basically, the next big boozy night cd decide the whole she-bang...

Although there is something about the language of Craig that I love. The mad exaggerations. That would destroy me. Evil. Erm, other stuff.

Cos as soon as the fleeting moment is over he doesn't care.

This is actually the language of Marco, isn’t it? I would want to say that he’s lifted it, but his BB fandom is a matter of record, and it must be difficult not to emulate certain behaviours associated with the show. And Craig does seem to be particularly interested in drawing comparisons with the characters and dynamics of previous years.

Don't dare pull the whole 'well, okay, he's a wholly self-centred, personality-disordered Rohypnol-rapist-in-the-making, but he's been really entertaining so I want him to win' schtick...

Eugene, tipped for the top by the tabs, goes for gold:

"Burble burble burble radios burble burble VIS SEQ burble burble burble Crawley... ad infinitum for 20 minutes... It's really a very fulfilling hobby."

Kinga (after looking as if she's contemplated killing both herself and Eugene): "Eugene, can I put make-up on you?"

This is already becoming a staple tactic within our coupley banter armoury.

Xoc: burbles on for 20 minutes about stuff I'm not really listening to

Me: Xoc, can I put make-up on you?

yes twas truely a glorious moment the first time i've actually been in stitches for weeks watching this dull bitchfest- and it convinced my SO that she would be voting for Kinga to win.

Also noticed that they chose not to show Craig saying he didn't want Eugene to win- maybe the program execs decided that really would put the nail in the coffin for Craig/ Antnee and they'd give them a fighting chance...

Maybe they're concerned a Eugene win means another 'Cameron'- ie a dull winner, a lack of tabloid interest and criticism of the show, so they're hoping for Anthony to win cos at least he'll do the Heat/ Night club/ Premiere/ short lived Kids TV presenter that keeps BB in the public eye....

(oh the nonsense conspiracies around the evil endermol...)

Ruchbah me, Armaduras

I have a private fantasy that Craig receives so few votes he's granted a rare booby prize - to emerge giddily from the house into... an empty courtyard, with the cheers of the crowd revealed to be nothing more than the sound of a tape recorder, and the door closes and he has to get the bus home on his own, baffled. Like something out of an old Avengers episode.

(By the way, I know it's a bit late, but does anybody know where that string of verse came from that Derek was shown quoting in his 'best bits' last Friday? I keep trying to remember it...)

Gawd the last week is so awfully dull always. I just can't watch it anymore, apart from evictions that is.

I think everyone should vote Kinga to win up until Wednesday just to ensure The Craig's ejection at the earliest possible juncture (she seems to be the other contender to go on Wednesday).

@Ruchbah you could try asking him in his webchat tonight maybe?
