Arharhar. New character, Private Iosaiph, is doing rather well with all teh pistol skills. Fear me, North Blytheville. Also, it's getting difficult to find zombies to use for target practice, which makes a refreshing difference from East Boundwood, anyway. The game really does ramp up once you've got one level of skills: I was able to upgrade my pistol skill in the session after I originally bought it, whereas it took me about a week to get the initial 75XP by hitting Zeds and running away. I wonder how much the unusual experience ramp is intended to be reflective of how survivors of a zombie apocalypse would actually react (ie: initial shock, and then quick adaptation once the situation's sunk in)? |
