| I might have overstated the banhammer thing in the interest of rhetoric, but the point is that he's most often there when shit hits the fan, sorting the wheat from the chaff and helping to settle debates and decisions. Thus severe in the sense of incisive and decisive. Which is what I should have said. And, of course, this goes for many other posters as well, like Olulabelle, XK, alas, Honolulu Randy etc who post some of the best stuff on the site while also shaping the implicit and explicit norms of conduct. |
