You mean banking? Or full-on twinking?
I mean any contact at all between your own characters. I realise that Blizzard not only allow this but tell you that you can do it in the manual, but I have an inherent abhorence for the idea as a legacy from years of LRP, where doing such a thing would almost always be considered terribly bad form. I think the objection is mainly based around the notion that characters which are subject to some overriding control cease to be characters and instead become aspects of a hive mind, or thoughts to that effect.
If Alice and Bob always act in perfect coordination they are not individuals. As an example, if Alice (my character) asks Charlie (your character) to give her some spangles then she can't count on getting them, whereas if Alice (my character) wants spangles from Bob (also my character) she has it guaranteed.
Needless to say my opinion of full-on twinking(OMT), which I suppose means not merely doing this but doing it with some fiendish plan to get one over on other players who don't have the benefit of a legion of hive-mind characters funneling them snackies, is verging on the unprintable.
Ah, shucks, it's not like it matters, it's only a game, and I'm hypocritical enough to like my fellow guild members who do this shit all the time. |
