So haven't been around in a while reading the old Barb, but it was nice to see this thread and know I'm not alone in my WOW madness!
Also really nice to see you finally got in to it too Stotie after my repeated attempts at coercing you to play the game in your "it's either that or city of hero's" moments.
I've been playing since the EU release, helped along by a friend of mine that, on many occasions, shouted "you have to play this game" down the phone at me. She works for Atari and played both US and EU beta's and I blame her for my lost life!
Anyway, like you guys have been saying, guilds are fun, raids are funnier esp. when you actually kill something. The game does however take on a different type of fun when you are a creator of a guild. Four others and I created a guild, spent about a week getting 50 people together and then headed out to raid those 40 man instances.
The first few weeks were fun, followed by a month or so of whining guild members and loot arguments, at which point the Guild Master and associated Officers suddenly released "wait 'master' 'officer' > 'member', this isn't a democracy" after that it's been pretty smooth!

Now I realise its been almost a month since anyone's posted so lets see what your all up to;
Any levels advanced? Any kills/cool goings on? Any disasters?
How do you find the weather?
"oh how pretty" or "god oh god stop melting my cpu"?
Is there any list of what servers you guys are on? |
