It really isn't hard for a dedicated single zombie to smash his way into a building early in the morning when everyone's asleep.

Yeah, the Zed I was using was only a level 4 though, and had about 15 AP's at the time. It was more a case of checking to see if other Zeds had worn the barricades down than any attempt to get in. I hit them a few times and then left again. I've left Shearbank now anyway, and am heading to Nichols Mall in Stanbury Village where a battle is starting up.

I need meatbags damnit, and Shearbank doesn't have many.

Is anyone else getting really pissed of with zombies attacking their own? Every time I log in my zombie character has lost at least half a dozen HP from stupid traitorous zombies.
In other news Huntley Heights and Randallbank are heaving with zombies, and as soon as Phyrephox has got some APs he's running for it.

Argh. Hip Flask killed *again.* Anyone got a spare syringe? He was fully levelled, so I had enough XP to buy Lurching Gait. Have revive, will travel. Though I could stay as a zombie and built up the human-friendly skills. Ankle Grab could be nice. Or Memories of Life.

Oh, right, shit, and I was in Earleton. Anyone nearby?

My wandering Zombie left Shearbank and found one or two others to hang out with. This is someone else's screenshot from the forums :

If you're at Nichols Mall, moving away quickly might be a good idea.

Jesus christ, you know those arseholes at the U.D. forums altered my last post to slag off Mexicans now?

Wheelie Godbaby's still dead in Havercroft. Anyone up for some reviving (apart from the Shearbank RTS, cos that's where Victor Kiam is?)

Horatio McPuckett has at least one syringe and is currently in Shore Hills... I'll head up to Havercroft presently. Might take me a day to find/revive you...

Yeah, they can be a bit crazy Morgue. I think glitch was one of the SA/DARIS guys aswell, so I thought things would get wierd at somepoint. Sorry to read that they chose to be idiots with you anyway, that sucks when you're not doing anything wrong.

Cheers, Bill of R... I'll hang out in Havercroft or thereabouts... let me know when you're in the area!

Is anyone else on the DUD forums? I've cancelled my membership, so I'd like to get someone to try an experiment- try posting "adios, muchachos.", and see if it comes out "P.S. can we get rid of all the Mexicans?".

Got to love their logic, the rebuttal to accusations of racism is that nobody cares, as it's only a forum for a zombie game. My counterargument to logic of this sort usually involves pressure points, but this being the net, I'll have to settle for being right.

Bill The R- are you Firefighter Dante? If you are, thank you... if not, don't worry about the revive, cos he did it!

Er, no, I'm not. But I will gladly take credit for it anyway. Mwahah.

Oh, why can't everyone just learn to love and fear me?

Is there anyone in the NE quadrant of the city who could revive a wandering doctor who got ate in his safe house?

Or perhaps I'd be better off shambling as a zombie until I reach the power plant....

Of course, Wheelie Godbaby is absolutely surrounded by Zeds, and doesn't know whether this is because he happened to be in a designated revive zone when he went up to the nearest survivor and used up all his APs saying "Mrh?" over and over again, or whether they're gonna eat him. He may stay lying down for a while.

Come to think of it, Bill, it's probably just as well it wasn't you. Fucker attacked me first!

He probably wanted the maximum APs.

But I'll be hanging around in the mall in case you get offed again. I'm fully-leveled, so now I'm just experimenting with the game...

Cheers! I've hit my 160 server hit limit for the day, though (even though I think most of those were "trying again later" when the game got overloaded... I definitely haven't made that many moves- fuck, I only have one character standing up!)

Last time I looked, though, there were EVEN MORE Zeds standing over Mr Godbaby. I'm really hoping it WAS a designated revive point, otherwise getting out of here alive could be tricky...

I think that's how I wound up deaded again. dammit.

Alan is snug as bug, but Raul is now being killed and killed again by the folks in the mall in pitneybank.

What? What's so hard to understand about "Mrnh?" Huh? Huh?

The block due south of the Armoury in Fort Creedy is a designated zombie revive point now. I'm in there, and yesterday people were being warned not to kill zombies who were standing there, or they'd be PKed, so I think it's taken fairly seriously.

Actually go up to the armoury, or hang around anywhere else in the area, and your zombie ass will be wearing a pig hat before you can say "Mrnh".

uh, actually, I just logged on and it looks like that's not true any more, a bunch turned up who were brain rotted

Cowboy Up said "Official Message over the Loud Speakers: KILL ALL ZOMBIES ONE BLOCK SOUTH. REVIVE POINT CLOSED. I REPEAT, KILL ALL ZOMBIES ONE BLOCK SOUTH." (10-10 14:44 GMT)
Cowboy Up said "SOMEONE WITH A SPRAY CAN SPRAY OVER THAT REVIVE TEXT. WRITE, No More Monkey's Jumpin on the Bed. One Block South is no a No Zombie Zone." (10-10 14:46 GMT)

though people are taking requests if you can stay in the area

I just got revived! I'm so happy - I was really pissed off, killed while my back was turned, and just ended up wandering about scratching at doors. But random revival, back in the game, ready to go heal some folk and kill some zombies!

Huntley Heights is still fairly full of zombies. Phyrephox is currently lurking around, trying to put them off his scent by barricading numerous bases and keeping on the move.
Hap, my zombie is doing all right, though people keep on reviving him, forcing him to leap from windows.
Does anyone with survivor characters fancy meeting up and trying to secure a barbelith safe area? I'm bored of the daily grind of search/ shoot and feel that I need an objective.

I'm up for a Barb safe house. Currently hiding down in Foulkes Villiage, but happy to move.

Some of us are in Shearbank, but that might not be the right place to do that...you could try the south, but that's quite boring right now, and there's not many Zeds to level up off.

Erm, the middle of the map is a total warzone, Tollyton is safe with Paradox there, and they're nearly all high level players securing the mall, but that might turn into a battle zone aswell soon. The Scourge are in Santlerville, (having just passed through Huntley Heights), so stay clear of there too. Ridleybank and all surrounding blocks are targets for one of the biggest Zed groups, the RRF, (Ridleybank Resistance Front) and they've already proved what they can do by wasting through most of Stanbury in a few days.

East/West Becktown looked like a good spot the last time I was there, maybe one of the suburbs around the middle-west of Malton could be a good for getting something started.

What's it like down there? I've never been into any of the corners before, are there many Zeds around?

Hardly any - most people are locked up in police stations or hospitals, and the odd zombie appears. Although they do seem to be quite prone to sneak attacks, so it's not the best place to get stuck in. I'm just going to try and level up some (after a recent revival) and then start to head into more active areas.

Yeah, my little Shearbank renewal plan isn't making any headway on account of a lack of interest from the wider masses, so gregorij would also be up for a barbehouse somewhere a little quieter than the hellsmouth he's currently in.

Yeah, I found a couple of safehouses in Shearbank but nobody seemed up for joining the war effort.

Grant- if you're still near the mall in Pitneybank I'll try to get someone to revive you, I'm hanging out there at the moment.

I quite like the idea of a Barbe-safehouse, too.

Actually that may not be an option, because fuck it all to hell, the map no longer shows up. Nor does it say that I'm actually at a location. All I can do is use objects, search the unspecified area that I'm in, and drop things. Twatting fuck hell shit cock damn.

Bugger. Managed to log in, walk around a bit, get stuck into combat with a Zed... THEN I get booted out and can't log back in. To paraphrase Daphne du Maurier- "what a bloody stupid way to die".
