There'd be a Spartacus-style 'I am Grunt McMahon!', 'No, I am George Morrisey!', 'But, really... I am Geoff Millar...' thread before too long, and really 'Grant Morrison' every six words can only bring more of the wrong sort.
What I don't get is... Why inna hell would Grant Morrison post here? He's not fostered or running the forums, he's not operating his own hypemachine or popping by to tell us he's leaving and never coming back and then posting the next day.
Has he ever - excluding the whatevers of [ugh!] wifegate - ever ever posted here? At all?
Nobody does this with Shakespeare boards or Ann Rice gothyflower unicorn-laden sites designed by people who have discovered the absolute worst shades of green and purple to blend uncomfortably togeter in a miasma of serious New Orleans vampire scholarship. And fanfiction.
I may want to pop over to www.shakespeare-online.com and tell everyone how the problem (that they aren't noticing) is that Billy left them to their own mediocre devices and hence they have, without new works of appropriate levels of progression by their martyrgodfather, fallen into despair, digression, and are fated for doom. Vile dank inherently-misogynistic doom.
But it wouldn't get me very far. (Mainly because they appear to have no message-board.)
And if he did post here, even regularly, under an assumed: (a) how would we know, and (b) would it even matter in the slightest? |
