And once again, I suggest that not liking something is not in itself a good enough reason to try to get it deleted. In a perfect world there would not be a need to say this, but this thread has demonstrated that people are prone to agreeing to do so on very sketchy grounds, and until we sort that issue out we might want to think of more coherent arguments than a variation on "I think this is stupid" - that wouldn't be a good enough reason to delete a post, much less a thread. Even if your reasoning is crystal clear to yourself, try to explain it for the benefit of the people reading this who are moderators - that is, assume they are critical intelligences, even if such an assumption is counterfactual. Alternatively, ask people to look at something and exercise there own judgement about what, if any, action should be taken. |
