Has there ever been an entire thread marked as NSFW before? - off the top of my head, I can’t remember seeing one. And if this is setting a precedent, I’m not sure it’s such a good idea - you’re effectively fencing off everything that gets written in a thread from every moderator who uses barbelith from work and has to worry about these things. I thought that was the reasoning behind changing NSFW pictures into links.
So, as you can’t move the text of that first post off barbelith - unless you just delete it - would using the black bar tags to obscure the post do anything to make the thread ‘worksafe’ again?
Like this:
blah blah offensive NSFW post goes in here blah blah
And, that same code if anyone wants to cut 'n paste it:
<b style="font-weight: normal; color: #000; background: #000;"> blah blah offensive NSFW post goes in here blah blah </b>
..I mean, I don't much like the look of the black bars, but I think they might have a use as a Slappy Mod Hand Of DOOOOM-type thing. |
