Hang on, you don't know what Gambit said, you don't CARE what Gambit said and yet you're trying to defend him? Dude, what hold does he have over you? Does he know where you were during the Kennedy assasination, or which tree you hid your heart in?
One more time, and I'll type slowly:
I'm
not
defending
him.
I asked a question because I was understanding (mistakenly?) that this was a forum for learning and communicating. If I'm mistaken so be it.
And to avoid future misunderstanding, the way to discern what I mean by what I write in here is to READ THE WORDS THAT I WROTE. Those words represent what I'm trying to communicate, that's why I chose them. Any assumptions you make about subtext are your own buisness. If I mean to say something beyond the actual words, maybe I'll give a little signal or something, if that's going to be neccesary.
You read it right the second time, I didn't mean to sound like I was telling you to fuck off. Sorry about that.
Thanks.
And btw, I'm not saying that I don't care about mysogony (you'll know this now from the fact that I DIDN'T SAY THAT,) I'm saying that the drama of Anna and Gambit is only periphally related to the questions I asked. The reason I didn't ask questions about anything he said was because nothing he said interested me. We've all heard goofy gender-baiting comments before and I don't feel the need to learn anything from the people that make them. Anna, on the other hand, seems an intelligent, if short triggered, person who's comments, though coming from a fundamental place of agreement (imo), she takes further then I find justifiable. Sounds like an oppurtunity for learning, or at least discourse.
If I don't agree with you, it's not neccesary to assume I'm an enemy.
Please ignore this post if I was mistaken and this isn't a forum for discourse, but an oppurtunity for people to think of witty ways to insult each other. |
