Princess-- Eunoia's all right, but generally held up in Canada as an example of "Well, I'm glad someone's done it, let's never do that again," which is what most of the reviews said, from what I recall. Sadly, Bok is a bit More-Pretentious-Than-Thou. He did a book called "Crystallography," concrete shape poems about crystals and minerals which was superior, IMO.

Happy thing? A chocolate cake with cookie crust and raspberry puree drizzled on top. I love the people at my work.

Garden Ruin is currently rocking me as well. There is a bar called Calexico a few streets from me, where I went with Mordant C and Lurid a few months back (and where Lurid thwomped me at table football). They told me that the band own the bar as they have a house here in Barcelona as well. Is this true anybody?

Listening to reggae while it's raining, eating squash soup and recovering from a slight hang-over. Contrary to popular belief, Reggae is best consumed whilst it is raining, not sunny. Reminds me of those London streets.

I just went out for dinner at a friend's house, and we had fondue. And then- at the end of the fondue- she put an egg in what was left of the cheese/booze concotion, and it turned into A FUCKING OMELETTE OF BOOZE!!!

She told us the French name for whatever-that-is (she's French, y'see), but we all decided OMELETTE OF BOOZE sounded better.

My wallet got pinched and then it turned up!! After an evening of sniffling and cancelling bank cards, the lovely lovely people in one of the shops I was in earlier called to say they found my wallet (minus cash naturally) and I can go get it tomorrow! Barbelith, my whinge here made it all better! You ROCK!

I've been doing an art project where I collect people's gloves that have fallen on the sidewalk. And in the past two days I've found five or six, after a week of almost nothing!

I even found my first matching pair today (they were right next to each other, not that someone lost a glove, and then days later elsewhere lost it's partner)!

Got a form in my pocket from a policeman who caught us shinning over a fence after visiting the University's secret botanical garden at six o'clock in the morning. It's called an 'encounter' form. How groovy is that? It even has my shoe size...why?!
