If it helps, Saltation, there's a thread called "Cool Quotes" further down the Conversation for just this sort of thing, although it's usually more witty and wise to praise the phrasing of others, rather than than one's own.

But if someone on barbelith says something original and clever and witty on barbelith, and if someone else on barbelith is tickled by their lovely turn of phrase, then they can hoist it up here to share the squee. Everyone else then thinks “Bastard! I wish I thought of that!” and raises their game.
