Yeah, that's *chan stuff, I'm guessing. Something like this was bound to happen sooner or later. There've been a few *chan actions recently that were, as always, pretty fucking hideous. There's been a lot of tension, too, with there also being a lot of criticism of such stuff on the *chans themselves- more so than previously. Now, I guess, is when we find out how the "new" Anonymous and the *chans deal with each other when the two are publicly connected.
Enturb have been a pretty good barometer of disapproval (well, I haven't been on there yet today, but last night it seemed to be so), though I think the mods' trying to stop there being too many threads on it may have been a little counter-productive. Threatening instant banning for people starting new threads on it who may not have noticed there was already one spread across such an unwieldy site as Enturb may be a little heavy-handed. |
