Missed this at the time (in January) but Stephen Colbert outs Will Smith as a $cilon. Now, where this has the potential to become awesome is that many people have long suspected his mate Jon Stewart is a *channer (he comes out with a little too much conveniently meme-interpretable wording for coincidence, is the feeling. One time he said "do a barrel roll" and the boards went APESHIT. If this is indeed the case, it's not inconceivable that Colbert, his comedy partner in crime, may be too. (Or at least that they share a writer who is). A long shot, sure, but what great PR that would be if they came out in support of Anoynmous- would really get a lot of people who wouldn't necessarily have given it much thought before.
Ah well, a guy can dream, right?
(Edit- actually, come to think of it, I think it was Colbert himself who said "do a barrel roll"...) |
