There should be a rule in most institutions of mid to high level education that if your over 50 years old and are still using notes that appear to have yellowed to the point where they look like they are from circa 1980, that new notes need to be made in order to give a productive lecture.
Honestly, i didn't know they had steno pads in 1268.
Thin brittle sheets of paper the colour of strong tea, worn to transparency.
We used to have to fake paper like that for live roleplaying props by getting thin paper and soaking it in tea, then baking it on a low heat. Bit of calligraphy and voila, magic scroll!
Thinking about it, I have decided that my flat needs more treasure maps/seekrit ancient majyckal scrolls of doom etc on the walls. *goes off to make tea*
In the pokemon universe what is the distinction between a normal animal and a pokemon animal. Is there one? Are there any non-pokemon animals ever shown in the series?
If all animals in that universe are pokemon, and none of the trainers are vegetarians, does that mean that the people are actually eating pokemon?
I could swear that I've seen a cow on the cartoon a few years ago. Is Pokémon still on. If it is, there doesn't seem to be nearly as much interest in it from the small people these days.
If they do eat Pokémon in poké-land, the poké-abbatoir would be filled with the screams of dieing Pokémon shouting their own names in agony. Pretty unsettling stuff.
Perhaps you need a nine year old. With homework. And a yen for pirates.
Didja make treasure maps? Didja?! whoo-hoo! My experience wasn't wasted!
Random thought; If you took a person and crossed them with a cat, so they had the sexy dress sense and agility and self-confidence like a cat, what would they be like?
My mind breaks when reading the front of someone's jacket on the metro
"Ken Tucky? Who the hell is Ken Tucky? Baseball? Hockey? I've never heard of him. You idiot. KENTUCKY!"
I did this on the way to work one day - I was walking in with a friend and we went past the offices of a company called 'DRIVELINK', and I said 'Drivel Ink? What kind of name is that for a company?'
