May; you fold socks? Not ball them? They make better ammo when you ball them.

Mazarine
02:15 / 10.10.02
I hope so Moriarty... on the up side, he's visiting New Orleans weekend after next, so I'm not really expected to be overly exciting. But still, this is the first real exposure my charming happy self has had to anyone who knew me before. If that makes any sense...

02:23 / 10.10.02
Roth, if you do go out, have a pint for me. I sure could use one.

And yes, I do, I do, *puts head in hands* I fold my socks very neatly. It is sickness I tell you!

I fold them so that you can just slip them on, no messing about with the opening. I will keep the ammo tip in mind though.

Mazarine
02:24 / 10.10.02
That's so nifty! How?

Papess
02:33 / 10.10.02
Ok, this is tough to discribe but I'll try...

FTurn the sock inside out. Take the heel part, open it up. Slip the toe part into the tube part and, Voila!

When you put them on, you can just put your toes in and pull the tube up. They are so neat in a drawer too.

Papess
02:41 / 10.10.02
Hello?

What are you all trying this at home?

Careful kids! I tell you, it is a sickness!

Mazarine
02:41 / 10.10.02
That is so entirely keen.

Mazarine
02:42 / 10.10.02
So do you link socks together, or is it a one sock per origami process?

Papess
02:50 / 10.10.02
I usually lay them side by side in my sock drawer, colour coded. I never have tried to link them up. Suppose you could though.

Hey Mazarine, you could show your cool friend this, that'll be sure to impress them! LOL

Geeez, what ever happened to Wednesday nights at The Cave?

Mazarine

They became thursday mornings at work? : /

Socks are taken for granted. They are truly amazing things.

Man, I was going to write in my blog but my image hosting is asking for credit cards now, so i had to spend half an hour finding a new one. Now I have to do homework. Blah.

Papess
03:02 / 10.10.02
You know, probably Moriarty is right, they will turn to you and tel you Mazarine how cool they think you are. I mean you must be, they chose to be your friend too.

I can totally relate to the lifestlye change though.

Mazarine
03:14 / 10.10.02
I'm being a total pansy, of course, I guess it's just that I like myself now, and didn't then. I suppose that's what makes me nervous, which is silly, because christ I hope my ego isn't so fragile that someone could actually make me like myself less. Bah, broken record girl, this should be the worst of my problems. I'll probably have a super time and wonder what I was ever worried about in the first place. Good thing I have it written down.

Damn Straight!

I tell you, being normal and contented is rather ...hmm, comforting. I just can't seem to get myself to be normal enough though. There is still some element of the Adam's Family lurking there. You know, my two year old making cabalistic crosses and calling his bowl a cauldron and his knife an athame....That seems to shake the daycare up a bit.

So really, I guess it is perception. I think I am boring, but from another POV, I am still my good ol' strange self.

Mazarine
03:44 / 10.10.02
Yeah, I'm still plenty odd, I'm just not New Orleans caliber exciting. But I need to go to bed. Thanks for the support all, I do appreciate it. Sleep tight.

The Return Of Rothkoid
03:48 / 10.10.02
Back in from lunch, wherein I bought a copy of the Arditti Quartet's recording of Stockhausen's Helicopter Quartet. Yeah. String quartets and helicopters - together at last!

Why can't I get cash for those kind of ideas?

AS for sock action, I fold them (so they go right on, no farting about!) and THEN ball them. Doubly-sure.

I'll drink enough beer for EVERYONE.

Good Night Mazarine

Think I will turn in too. I have that Thursday morning at work thing to do.

I have that Thursday morning at work thing to do.

I always feel funny reading from tomorrow. Thursday afternoon on bottom end of globe. Fine sunny spring day in Melbourne.

I love the feel of new socks. When I win the lotto I will never wear a pair of socks twice.

The Return Of Rothkoid
06:42 / 10.10.02
You mean like Ross Webster in Superman III?

"I was born rich, never worn the same pair of socks twice...I don't know, they're laundered and sent to some charitable institution, I think. Actually, I don't know what they do with them. Maybe they turn them into dust rags or pen wipers or something like that."

I know it's not late anymore (well it is for me)- but- personal finance and train hell has finished for another night! I am now free to drink beer and play video games! Yay is me!

11:58 / 10.10.02
Horray for you!

It's early here now, am I must try to stop myself from the video games and concentrate of The Evil Bastard of New Spain: Don Fernando Cortes.

digging this up to talk crap. the cheap smokers' net cafe has revolutionised my late night crawling home ritual... i get to sober up and nicotine-poison myself before bed.... ees great.

Seth
22:33 / 11.10.02
Just about. Getting tired but can't be arsed to go to bed. How's tricks?

Goodness Gracious Meme
22:36 / 11.10.02
not bad... sobering up, perfecting a bootiful smokers hack.... still enjoying the luxury of smoking in a net cafe, though having to ignore the sickening emotional blackmail/mating ritual going on behind me...

how you, sweets?

JtB knows no fear, 'specially where madness is concerned. I'm not sure, but I think he may have people round at the same time as being online.

I'm alright. Trying to stave off a nagging financial frustration and feeling gutted that I've had no real dream recall for two nights running. Also getting addicted to video games again, which is very bad for someone like me. My obsessive streak does not mix well with Majora's Mask.

Goodness Gracious Meme
22:53 / 11.10.02
Fair enough, he did mention something about post pub friends and fun...

Ooh, had my first play (recovering games addict - clean for several years no)of MM the other night. It is fabby, isn't it? Am v. glad I don't have a computer at home, or i'd leave the house even less than i do already...

The Return Of Rothkoid
22:54 / 11.10.02
I'm here. Was around at 3AM my time, too, but no - the board didn't want to know me then. Post? Not likely sunshine - it's ERROR PAGE for you!

Or something.

Currently waiting for a phone-call and feeling odd, as usual. Sigh.

Seth
22:56 / 11.10.02
Hey Roth. Big hugs.

BiP: I've just saved the Deku Princess from the cursed Temple, and won a pig mask. This game had me at hello.

The Return Of Rothkoid
23:12 / 11.10.02
Hey, ta exp.

I'm still sitting in bed, waiting fer contact. Sigh. But I can, in regard to an as-yet unanswered - for I am slack - PM about zithers, point you towards this and this...

The Strobe
23:22 / 11.10.02
I'm in, but about to head off as normal. "Quiet night" turned into hanging around with lots of people, fab noodles, and discussion with a fellow (techincal sense, not just 'some guy') about New Order.

Now pissed, have had interesting email, about to hit sack. Exp: Majora's Mask, yes? Never played that, though halfway through Ocarina; I had to leave it at home on sheer "not doing any work if I bring it" grounds. Slightly drunk, then, but curiously happy. Tomorrow, I get to bust the tune-dropping skills on a crowd of unsuspecting first years. Looking forward. But first: sleep, and the Orestaia. Shite.

Seth
23:53 / 11.10.02
MM is more of the same - it's virtually a straight continuation. I completed Ocarina a couple of years ago, and it turned me into a rabid crack addict until I'd finished the lot. MM hasn't got a slow learning curve like the first game: you're thrown headlong into the thick of things. It's got loads of references to Ocarina all the way through.

Right. Sleep. Night guys (and cheers for the links, Rothkoid. Just saved them, will come back to them tomorrow).

Just got back from work. We wear costumes for the rest of the month. There was a pirate costume. There was a ninja costume.

It was a tough decision.

Hello everyone!

Tricks is fine, exp

Hey Moriarty, which one did you choose?

*patiently smears little pieces of gummed paper with viscous black substance*

Saturday: 2:44 am,

"Fucktrumpets", I now have yet another barbblock added to my lego world of a vernacular. It's great. You can scream it. You can say it with the whole halleuja chorus behind it. I sooo love that wordicle.

There are far too many things that apply to Pirates than Ninja...the PvN games is getting really hard to come up with card ideas...arrrgh..thankfully the PvN sidescroller is going well.

PS. HI All!
