I aced that interview.
I was impeccably dressed and handsomely groomed. I was verbose, funny, able to highlight all of my skills and explain with certainty why I would be an asset to the company. My portfolio was well-rounded and brimming over with quality work. I marketed myself like a champ and left the building full of confidence. I'm exactly what they're looking for, as far as I can tell.
I fully realize that I may not get this job (which would give me an unhappy cuz it's a great opportunity and it'd be a major step forward in my career). But right now, I can't bring myself to worry about that because I did everything right when it absolutely counted and I cannot help but feel overwhelmingly proud of myself. I'll find out one way or the other tomorrow.
So, for today: Yay me! |
