See, I think C4 did both Maggot and Traci a disservice by not including ANY of their five-hour drunken all-night chat in the highlights show. Definitely sold me on Traci, and was the thing that made me start seeing Maggot in a much better light too.
Yeah, I can believe that. With not having E4, I am very reliant on the highlights show, which I'm aware skews things somewhat. I also think that the BB format naturally favours those who are group performers as opposed to those better one on one.
On top of that, I did think that Maggot's comment in the diary room at a time of high tension that he'd gone in to have a laugh with some interesting people was pretty telling. He could have been quite different with a more laidback house atmosphere.
If the public image of GLC is accurate, it's also possible that he may have been so quiet at first because he was missing the weed. I know that when I used to smoke heavily, I'd have found suddenly not having it pretty difficult in social situations. |
