Jeez, losing the Civil War really took it's toll on Cap. Guy looks like Morph:

Nice one, Jack! I loved all the Gruenwald stuff but I forgot that Cap was an early, EARLY advocate of computer BBSes as a communications and crime-fighting tool.

That's what he did with his $4 million or whatever in army back pay, right?

I dunno about "America's ideals", but surely Steve Rogers knows who won the world series?

You're forgetting that Steve still has one foot in the past. Surely he can't possibly keep up with newfangled tech-savvy 21st-century American trends like this "World Series," whatever that is.

Although really, even if Cap hadn't sat down and actually watched the game, surely he'd seen it in a newspaper. I imagine Captain America reads at least the NY Times front to back, reads every letter to the editor, and does the crossword each morning before breakfast.

This is ... well it's a thing, I suppose, on a number of levels. But I imagine if Sally from 'Civil War: Frontline' met Paul Jenkins, as in a manner of speaking she easily might do these days, following his recent appearance in 'The Avengers' as comics writer Paul Jenkins (which he was presumably all right about, even though he didn't script it himself,) she would really like him.
