Anyone heard about the marathon?. You have to start at 0,0 and post a picture to prove it, then you have to get to the other side of town, with stages through the most dangerous areas (screenshots of each stage required).

Reckon we should do our own. It'd be a laugh. Like whacky racers.

Yeah, there's talk in Dribbings PC of 180 Zs coming from Grayside or somewhere, but there's always rumours flying about regarding mass Z invasions.

Anyone found these spark plugs or stuff that eon mentioned, that could be fo use in the power station? I've found a load of fuel cans....

And Phyrephox is safe. I know you were all really worried.
My other survivor, Jeff Dawes is knocking about in Williamsville, but I'm worried about bringing him to Krinks as well as I don't want to get booted for cheating.
My zombie, Hap Jenson is doing well. He's over the hump (and he did it all zombie) and is now advancing quite well and managing to munch on a few survivors each day.

I've got two characters in Williamsville, Phox (noticed Phrephox running around this morning). I just make sure they don't go into the same buildings at the same time and they don't attack the same Zs, etc.

Pear - its easier to level as a human - so don't look a gift horse in the mouth - gain XPs as a human until you max out then cross over and max out for the other side...

Nah, if you're going to be a zombie, be hardcore about it. It may be easier to get XP as a survivor, but it's less satisfying, imho, than doing it all zombie.

Nope, sounds like BS to me, but if you're going to find spark plugs anywhere, it'll be in a junkyard. I'll send out someone tomorrow morning to check. BTW, there's a z on 10HP just to the east of Krinks and one to the north right now.

One of the other survivors outside Voke must have finished off the Zed- they both appeared to be offline this morning which is why I was a bit in the poo... now I'm looking for a way back into the power station. I've only got a couple of APs left, so if someone could recommend a route I can get back indoors later on...

Best way in is Lahey Auto repair [34,94], SW of the station. Was only strongly barricaded. Can free-run form there.

Jeff's now safe in the power station while Phyrephox is off looting the the mall to the Northwest.
Do any of the more mathematically minded 'lithers know if a survivor with bargain hunting is better off making the trek to the mall from the power station, or sticking with one of the local PDs? My gut instinct is the former, but I may be way off.

Bargain Hunting only works in malls, and you can go straight for the ammo or medpaks or whatever, so, yes, as long as you have Free Running, race for the mall. It's really not that far away.

As mentioned by Supaglue earlier, the marathon is looking like lots of fun. One of my characters may have to go and help line the streets for the victor- I think it was a great idea.

Yah, the mall is only about 14 moves away. One thing I've just noticed is that not all buildings have windows to hurl yourself out of when you want to level up your brain chomping skills. Wasted my last 10APs finding that out.

There's zombies camping outside the mall and following folks who visit. My NT (no free running) got kinda ... ehrm, lost, and ended up getting infected. Luckily she had to get rid of some med-packs anyway, but I think he's in Williamsville somewhere now. Oooops.

I'm wandering, Kung-Fu style, getting my xp's up and healing the sick across the land. Spent the night in a hospital with a zombie, neither of us attacking the other, just passing by, very strange - either he was looking for a heal, or just didn't like the risk of attacking. Anyway, the power station is over barricaded again so I'll be some time until I can get free moving.

Is Urban Dead dying?
Has anyone else found Urban Dead to be less appealing now? This thread had slipped from the top half dozen in G&G for the first time in yonks, and personally I'm finding it more & more of a grind, probably because once your characters max out there's little to keep you playing.

Anyone who's bored, head up to Brooke Hills. Victor certainly didn't have a dull night. Quite the opposite... that must have been a fascinating way to die, being overrun by quite that many Zeds at once. BALLS!
