One day it will!

I’m watching it, I’m thinking it’s surely getting about time for them to start teh preproduction on a proper ‘Twin Peaks: 20 years on’ mini series. Mainly because most of my favourite characters don’t seem to have appeared anywhere else all this time, so I quite like the idea of them having carried right on, just wandering around the town of Twin Peaks for the last (nearly) two decades. Well, it’ll be pretty much two full decades after the Season 2 DVD comes out, the demand for a new series has grown, all the actors have cleared their *cough* schedules, and the damn thing actually gets made. So if they start planning now, I reckon they might just make the 20th anniversary.

I wish.

Sorry, suedey, where are my manners? Are you well?

I am well! Well sort of, I've been a bit *stressed* and I think you may well know why. But otherwise, ok. Hoping to perk up soon.

I was watching the dvd extras from Twin Peaks series 1, and I almost feel sorry for some of the actors. I'd love to see them again! It's not Kyle Mc even did a whole lot...

Are you well? Is the toilet cleaner still going down smooth?

Has season 2 finally been released on dvd?
I also would have thought that some of the actors would have forged brilliant careers post Twin Peaks. Especially the girl who played Audrey, her emotional responses were just always somehow just left of appropriate.

It's apparently going to finally be released on DVD sometime soon in the next handful of years possibly.

Something like that, anyway.

Is the toilet cleaner still going down smooth?

Nursing the last glass in the bottle, trying to make it go as far as possible.

And yes, and yes, and I hope you’re a little less eh and a little more grrr today, because grrr is good, and, wow, DVD extras?

And Cistern: I think that Sherylin Fenn, ie Audrey, is one of the few who *have* had a half-way successful career. Nah, I want to see what 20 years’ passing has done to James Hurley. Or Nadine. Or Deputy Hawk. Or, y’know, that Bobby Briggs. After all, I rather enjoyed the Dukes Of Hazzard reunion show. I’m like that.

Log Lady Episode introductions.....yessirr.

Hope you feel "grr" tommorow also Suedey, not that I'm appraised of the situation in any way or in any position to give adviced but it seems to be favourable opposite "eh" etc.

I do remember Sherilyn Fenn had a lacklustre sitcom called Rude Awakening where she played an alcoholic ex soap actress struggling to find work after playing Emerald in something similarily titled to Twin Peaks (which was amusing). It fell somewhere between Ab Fab and something else crap if I recall.

Whwt about Lara Flynn Boyle? I hear she dated Jack Nicholson for awhile...

Spatula Clarke

Starred in a string of low-cost softcore flicks, I think. Iirc, Lynch had a pretty damning response to her refusal to get involved with Fire Walk With Me which mentioned her subsequent career.

Was she on some lawyer show recently? The Practice, maybe?

I wish I hadn't got out of rehearsal at 9.30, meaning that I got home/to Tesco's ten minutes after they had closed. For if I had made it through the doors Casa Priestess would not be lacking:

Tesco Red Bull knockoff Kick!
Cream for my coffee
Dips for my chips
Toilet paper
Juice
Cat food

and the cat would not be pissed off with me and irritable because hungry, and I would not be facing an imminent shortage of stimulants and fags.

And I would NOT be watching a TV movie of Titanic starring Catherine Zeta Jones and some of the worst accents I have ever heard.

Sorry, darling, you're not! I was dithering with AdAware (bloody computer). You're all about gardening? Flowers, food, or both?

no... just cdn't think of anything conversational regarding cats, dogs, biscuits or gardens. shifting to back-up plan, which is:

"that’s damn straight: ICFTHS/JUN sees yr deejay technophobes SINK TO NEW DEPTHS and/or GO UNDERGROUND (depending on yr P.O.V.) as they eschew traditional light and magic for a one-room-only black hole twilight zone disco claustrophobia vibe. if you haven’t had a chance to check out B’Lo since its refit, this is all the excuse you need to their all-new soundsystem, floorplan and décor – consider this an invitation to bounce off the walls: let's get trash-compacted, yo."

the generous GLORY of the It Came from the Sea massmail. no one shamelessly promotes like i shamelessly promote.

hmm. more interestingly: has anyone seen that John Paul Blah's confirmation of sainthood rests on the vatican proving he's performed two miracles SINCE HIS DEATH?

FOR SERIOUS: NO REST FOR THE PIOUS.

Mostly weeding to be honest with you. But flowers and herbs very soon!

I can't Come to the Sea this time, Fly's going to Cambridge on Sunday as I'm sure he'll elaborate on another time and a friend who I haven't seen is in the country for a few days for a wedding so the weekend's all crazy tied up.

i totally disapprove of mixing vacations and matrimony. ok, it's a bit classier than sex tourism, but still - WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE USHERS?

i'm not even drunk, y'know. just got a mild-to-moderate dose of CPU-psychosis.

has anyone experienced any ex-pope-related miracles? 'cause i reckon that cd be worth some ££££...

Tryphena Absent

I knew he was dead last time. It came to me while I was dancing. Of course that might have been wishful thinking.

I hear CPU psychosis is spreading across the nation in waves. Not from any reliable source though, I just told myself that.

Are we shifting?

I'm a bit rusty.

22:24 / 02.06.05
I've been forcing myself into working on a lot of oft-delayed stuff recently and have cut down on the barbelithing, but I've decided that I'm shifting tonight. I have whiskey and beer, I'm illustrating some Jenny Everywhere until I get too drunk and I'm not moving from this keyboard! I'll shift with myself if I have to!

(Don't listen! I need your company! Shift with me! Please?)

Coming down from a cold medicine buzz, and you?

iamus
22:45 / 02.06.05
I got off work early today. Really early. Like four hours ago, whereas I should technically still be there now. So all things considered, I'm feeling quite good.

I'm waitering, which isn't a job I'm really all that keen on, but the desire to not have to do it for the rest of my life has been getting me off my arse in other respects, so it's all good.

Liger Null
22:49 / 02.06.05
You're a stronger person than I am. I couldn't handle being a waitress. I would end up poisoning someone...

iamus
22:55 / 02.06.05
I can handle the people, it's the time spent holding a tray when I could be doing something more constructive that gets to me. But like I said, it's good for motivation.

Actually, the thing that really gets to me is the obscene amount of perfectly good food that gets regularly scraped into the bin.

Liger Null
23:00 / 02.06.05
I suppose health regulations prevent you from taking some home...

Yay! they're playing "Don't Fear the Reaper!"

Mock all you want...

iamus
23:05 / 02.06.05
It's not so much that. It's more of a compare and contrast situation. We have it good here in the west.

Anyway, cold medicine? Either you've been feeling poorly or you've been quaffing it for a cheap dunt. Which is it to be? I won't judge

iamus
23:09 / 02.06.05
I would never mock.

Who are they though?....

Liger Null
23:17 / 02.06.05
We have it good here in the west.

We certainly do. Yet I can still manage to find things to bitch about...

I have a legitimate cold and I had to work today, else I'd just curl up with a nice cup of tea, which is what I'm doing now that I'm home. Though I have done the robo-buzz thing in the past. I don't recommend it.

"They" are the local Classic Rock station. They're playing Bowie now

iamus
23:31 / 02.06.05
My they is iTunes, and they are currently playing Country Death Song by the Violent Femmes. Now that you mention it though, I really don't have anywhere near enough Bowie in my life at the moment. I feel that is something that I should rectify.

Liger Null
23:34 / 02.06.05
Do you have to iTunes? Because Launch sucks.
