Very well. Abbreviated because I can't remember it all.
I've been drinking two seperate beverages: coffee (white chocolate mocha) and soda (diet Dr. Pepper). I was enjoying the play between hot and cold sensations as I would switch from drink to drink, and it was quite pleasant. Now the two drinks have nearly reached an equilibrium. The coffee has cooled to approx. room temperature, and the dr. pepper is just barely chilled. Two observations here:
1) warm dr. pepper tastes ok. cold coffee does not. at all.
2) The coffee seems to have chilled quicker and to a greater degree than the soda has warmed. I am perplexed by this. Upon closer inspection, it is noted that the coffe has actually sunk below room temperature, while the soda is still warming, approaching room temperature (though still at a much slower rate). I begin to suspect foul play on the part of the paper cup manufacturers. It must be a ploy to get me to purchase more coffee. Warmer coffee. I might agree to this, but the coffee shop closed 26 minutes ago. And soon, both beverages will be gone, and this post will still be boring.
Perhaps it would be better in e-prime? |
