I'm pissing me off. Just found a horrible, rude, mean-spirited post that I must have written at some time but of which I had no memory. Guess I'm just more horrible, rude and mean-spirited than I'd like to think.
The "Creators are gods" / "Creators don't deserve to lick at my boots, stop sucking up" thing. It's just getting a bit dull, and it seems to pop up everytime I start to really enjoy a thread.
Actually, as I was typing out the huggles I was posting a few minutes ago, I was watching over my shoulder to make sure nobody was reading what I was typing.
Today I'm pissed off about missing threads until it's too late. Sometimes, I read an abstract or initial post, go to reply and then realise that the thread's dead and buried already. Sometimes it's locked by the time I get there after having been offline for only a few hours. Grrr. Need machine telepathy.
seconded.
i recently lost all patience with said fuckbiscuit and gave him the that information wrapped upless than pleasantly.
needless to say wee sacks decided the meat was to be ignored because of the fat.
what about all the other times when i was nice?
why did you ignore me then? hepatitis C doesnt apologise when it comes back either.
he keeps telling us how hard his life is and ignoring the advice we give him to fix it.
that and his big hissy fit over leaving* a wee while ago have pretty much burned any friendly bridges he had.
i for one used to have time for him.
sadly, wanker face doesnt have time for anything (i or) anyone else says.
life is hard, pretending to be a magician when you live with mum and dad.
Oh, and a more general annoyance: people quoting the posts of others, but never indicating who it is they're responding to. Is going to the effort of typing out six or seven extra characters really that difficult?
And they creak when they put their shiny boots of leather on.
But, in this instance, his grumbling is apt. And grumbling can be a more effective strategy sometimes than going all ranty-pointy-shouty. Less sexy footwear is worn for the grumbling though.
