Signatures: I've said it before and I'll say it again. They're just greedy. It's all about tagging as much page space as you can to your name, all about using a bunch of kooky graphics and pictures to lay petty claim to a few more lines of the forum and show how cool person X is by reference to "pop culture thing X". It's rubbish.

Also it breaks up the conversation. It really does. It forgoes any kind of smooth transition between text boxes/posts.
