Mozarts Horn Concerto #3 in E flat is just irking the hell out of me.

Ah...Leonard...much better.

I love that picture.

A lot.

I wish that I was that happy...I don't knwo if anyone is ever that happy.

Saint Keggers
03:31 / 28.11.04
I am that happy.
Its not that he's that happy that counts..what counts is its raining! and he's still that happy! I think the drugs were alot better before they were colourized.

Solitaire Rose as Tom Servo
03:43 / 28.11.04
Oh no, he's just as happy in the movie, which is in color.

And is all about Silent Movies. I heart silent movies.

Saint Keggers
03:45 / 28.11.04
I too heart silent movies... especially Chaplain. Loves the Charles I do. I sooo want a wall sized poster of that pic.

*trivia for you* When filming 'Singing in the Rain' the actual rain consisted of watered down milk. This increased its visability on film compared to simple water. "Singing in the Milk, just singing in the milk..."

Bitter Suite, didn't they film it at three in the morning as well, when Gene Kelly was nackered after being up for thirty hours or something? Or am I imagining it?

You know what’s better than Singin’ in the Rain? Funny Face. Funny Face trumps any film, ever. I *heart* Funny Face. I’d marry it, if I believed in marriage and it wasn’t a film.

And, sod principles. I want to admit out loud, I’m filled with nasty glee at the spectacle of David Blunkett - of all people - wriggling around after an intrusion into his fucking privacy. It’s the kind of clunky plot twist that happens on tv.

Here’s hoping he learns his bloody lesson and starts proposing some privacy laws instead. Some ‘mind your own business’ laws. One can hope. Otherwise, he’ll probably be happier without a career.

er...anybody else here? Or am I just shouting in the wind?

Aaahhh, Funny Face. I love it also.

No, you're not alone, dearie. Hows ting?

Me: lovely mellow good mood, despite my Blunkett-related raving. Been sat beside the fire all day. Listening to the football and doodling away. I don’t much like winter, but it does have its moments.

And yourself?

00:03 / 29.11.04
Also very mellow.

Lovely weekend of friends, food, football(didja see Chelsea? Blimey.) and fun.

Today: Add lovely day/dinner &a couple of glasses of astonishing Rioja at my favourite restaurant and you have a happy (Me)me.

I'm also unfeasibly pleased with my puntastic new ficsuit name.

You have a fire?

Yam very jealous.

Bed Head
00:17 / 29.11.04
It’s only a gas fire! Its not the kind of fire to be jealous of, not like my friend’s glorious open fire. I get everything I need around me, and then huddle up close to it. Bohemian-style.

Blimey, that restaurant looks rather fine.

And no, I missed seeing the all-singing-all-dancing-spectacle that is Chelsea. Already wishing I’d placed that bet at the start of the season, though. Still, it was a *very* noisy broadcast today from Liverpool, that’s what I was listening to. I love hearing that pure Joy-roar when a stoppage-time goal goes in.

00:27 / 29.11.04
oic.

Was imagining you sprawled on your bearskin rug in front of a roaring log fire, glass of cognac in hand...

(ok I wasn't, but you get the idea. Do I sound like a stalker yet?)

Ooh, haven't checked scores from today. We play tomorrow. And know what you mean about that roar, though I find listening to Leeds matches on the radio agonising, can do it with neutral stuff quite happily...

*reads soccernet report of Liverpool-Arsenal game*

oh my. They're really struggling now...

Bed Head
00:37 / 29.11.04
hee hee. I back pretty much any team against Arsenal, I think they’re such an infuriatingly cheaty bunch of cheating cheaty-cheats. ‘Tis a shame, because I reckon they look so wonderfully glamourous and sexy and graceful most of the time. Just not when somebody stands up to them. They’re like the gorgeous boy at school who was also a rotten bully. I just want them to jolly well learn their lesson.

Bearskin rug. Log fire. Hahahahahahaha.

Goodness Gracious Meme
00:43 / 29.11.04
Well, yes, they can be infuriating, but they've also been beautiful and brilliant this season, at times they've been on another planet in skill terms. I think they've got the toughness to come back, and I'm not convinced that Chelsea can handle the pressure, it's new to them...

Hee. Actually, re-reading that it sounds a bit Heart to Heart. Might as well have added 'chest wig','medallion' and 'throaty manservant' to the sketch...

Goodness Gracious Meme
00:45 / 29.11.04
Oh, but on much more important matters... Ipswich are going for it a bit, eh?

Goodness Gracious Meme

Anyway, I'm off to bed.

Nnight, hon

Meme, I’ll bet you a chocolate prize of your choice right now, that Chelsea finish above Arsenal in the Premiership this season. I *don’t* think they’ve got the mental toughness. As it happens. Agree about the beauty and the skill, doubt their mental toughness. I have elaborate theories to back up my predictions, you know. Don’t get me started.

I’m surprised there isn’t any football slash around, actually. In fact, there must be. That photo the other week of Henry and Pires running down the touchline hand in hand was *beautiful*. They're such a natural couple.

Pah to Ipswich. I mean, good luck to them, but still, pah. And Wigan. And Sunderland. How dare they be doing well.

01:08 / 29.11.04
Rats. I timed that one wrong. Sleep well, m’dear. And, er, thanks. For the chest wig/medallion imaginings. I could do with a change of look.

Hi there Meludreen, I have wine and cigs. So how the devil's it going ? I may have some time...

Hello Alex, everything is going swimmingly, thank you. When one can afford the luxuries of beer and cake, one must be doing something right. No cigarettes for me though, I may have to smoke one vicariously through you if that's ok.

How's it going down your end?

Hello Stoatie. How have you been? Am I correct in thinking you recently had holidays?

I'm still a little out of work, as well as cigarettes. I'm upgrading to whiskey to compensate. Blended crap unfortunately but you makes use of what you gots.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Yes, my holidays (well, three weeks off work, anyway- I didn't actually go anywhere) came to an end about three hours ago. Harrumph.

alas
23:51 / 29.11.04
I have a cold. Probably I need whiskey--for medicinal purposes, of course. How do you actually make a hot toddy? How do you make a butler appear to prepare and serve a hot toddy?

what's all this lateshift nonsense, anyways? don't you people realise that it's only 5:49?

Oh, and I may have Meme beat re: a new puntastic ficsuit, since I have the pleasure of knowing near nobody will be able to call me on mine.

Yeech!

I started signing on today. Still looking for gainful employment (perhaps not as hard as I should be, but y'know). I'll need to get another shite job that's easy to tide me over while I develop my tickets to millionairedom.

How do you make a butler appear to prepare and serve a hot toddy?

Wouldn't it be better if he actually DID, rather than just appearing to do so?
