Now I have a question:

Do you have the beardfree zones right and left under the lower lip on purpose? I recently noticed that on LOST, where Sayid, Sawyer and Charlie have those pieces of beard missing. I wondered, do these castaways shave there on purpose? Or is there no beard grow for some reason?

I ask, because my beard growth at these areas is very strong, and I don´t know, why one would shave there on purpose.

It probably varies, but those bits are slightly thinner, beardywise, on my face - one side more than the other. I use the beard-trimmer to even it up, though, so it looks more defined than if I simply left it patchy.

When I saw those three guys on the show, it really made me wonder, because it really looks like it´s done on purpose. I even tried shaving off those areas, to see if it looks that much different. But it doesn´t.

First one: quite good, in a seedy riverboat gambler sort of way.

Second: Um, no, not really. A bot to bit-part character actor in a low-rent gangster flick.

Third: For some reason this makes me think Clint Eastwood meets Lemmy - which would possibly work, but on Cave's chops seems overdone. Still, it makes him look less babyfaced, if more Hollywood.
