I don't know how advisable it would be to snort powdered altoids. But, to each their own.

A friend told me it was quite painful, and that the whole room smelled of peppermint every time he sneezed, for days. So, no, I don't exactly recommend it, unless you like pain as well as scented sneezes.

An unexpectedly apt star sign (much better than the time it predicted 'romance this week due to the position of uranus'):
I think it's a good idea for you to give up mediocre pleasures that drain your energy and diminish your intelligence. I also wish you would sacrifice irrelevant fantasies and deluded hopes that lead you away from your riveting dreams. On the other hand, I will rejoice if you commit yourself twice as intensely to the robust pleasures that refine your energy and boost your intelligence. And I will love it if you take three practical ations to supecharge one of your riveting dreams.

I've just spent an hour standing in the rain waiting for a person who didn't turn up. And I woke up early for the pleasure.

This would normally be shit. However, that person was my lift, so now I get a day off work. Unpaid, true, but a legitamate excuse to go back to bed.

Here is the uke clip he just sent me:

On a related noted, does anybody have a link for those Realfield cartoons? They're awesome, but I never seem to be able to find a whole bunch of them.

What, like this?

Or is this some strange 4chanesque practical joke I am not privy to? (I get my chan memes filtered down through Lolbrarians and ICHC and such, whereas you have been exposed to the PURE SOURCE and may never recover.)

You too can buy t-shirts and other crap that will be out of date in 368 days. Of course, it'll only be a date worth celebrating as long as the next American President isn't a crazy like Huckabee or Paul...

All the websites belonging to a certain money-spinning "religious organisation" (which is offering cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators) are currently down, and have been for several days now, due to a concerted raid by various other internet communities. This is a great spectator sport, and the cause of a pretty good happy.

joviality- look at the thread in Temple. The DDOS has pretty much stopped, but the campaign's continuing.

I read, yesterday, a very special theatre review. It was of a pantomime. And it was by Brian Sewell. It was why we invented the written word, I swear. I think it was in the Standard, and will try to find it at some point. It's awesome.

(Spoiler- he thought the panto was shit).

IT COULD! IT COULD!

Feast upon its awesomeness.

Ross was, alas, miscast: his role villainous, they dressed him as a Zorro pupped by a Molière fop, gave him the exaggerated manners of a frequenter of the molly-house with speech of unsustainable refinement, and made him subservient to a shrill and wicked queen.

Also, I have plans after work tonight to go home, clean the apartment, and write a couple pages of something buzzing in my brain.

For some reason that .gif is horrifying. I think it might be because I always expect comic characters to be static and remain in their boxes. Very uncanny valley territory there.

But funny.
