I asked everyone to do positive thinking. On LJ Zippy wrote a prayer and that got sent to loads of people with a picture of Pickle, including my Mum's gardening website friends, and xk even posted it on her myspace, and I really, truly think that's what worked.

Obviously, because he was in a specialist orthopaedic dog hospital, which in itself is a remarkable thing and says quite a lot about the British.

But even the surgeon keeps going on about what a good recovery he's making and how lucky he is.

DM, He can't walk yet and won't be able to for a while I don't think. But I can carry him places for now and although his legs clearly hurt I think he's comfy enough when he's lying down. He's mainly just pleased to be home.

Congrats on the dognews.

I finished the main characters of the mural, (the one I wanted to burn to the ground) put frisket over them and then painted everything sky blue. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Then I started to talk with another artist friend who's reaction left me very very worried that everything would be ruined once I took the frisket off. But NO! It came off perfectly and the blue really brought all the pieces together. I am so very very relieved. I dont suck as an artist after all.

NExt mural Transformers? I so hope so.

serendipitous! That's awesome!

My major happy for today is my Christmas Present from Ikea, a mini Digital Video Recorder! It is peachy keen! I've been sprinting around the house vox-popping family members left right and centre.

It'll help a lot next term as well, when I'm doing my Advanced Digital Video Production Module. Not only is it fancy and awesome, it's also really useful for my degree!
