I remember when kids would come in my friend's comic shop and try everything they could think of to try and get some of the adult comics. It was funny in a way, since for the most part, Playboy was cheaper and the women looked better.

Actually, I've just let my subscription to Playboy run out for lack of funds. Well, that and I haven't read any of them for about 4 months. Though I suppose Playboy hardly qualifies as porn.

I am dying to get some adult comics in here. I've found a distributor, it's just a matter of scraping the cash together for that initial buy. Wanna put Xxxenophile in my store in the worst way. IT's so very good.

Trijhaos, I found 20 old transformers for 50 cents each at a garage sale today. And I bought them all. Mwah ha ha ha haaaaaa!!!!

You are an evil, evil man. I was only able to make it to two yard sales because none were advertised yesterday and they both had junk.

The only interesting toys I found were some old G.I. Joes for a buck each, the G2 Megatron that turned into a tank, and that strange orangish Optimus Primal that turned into all kinds of wacky stuff. I didn't buy any though. Damn my lack of funds.

I'd really like to go to that big ass flea market that runs along for a large distance. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but damn all those tables....all those opportunities to find lose treasures...

Last night I went to see +/-, which didn't really snap my radish. maybe I'm too old to go to gigs atcoffeeshops where the gig's over before midnight.

I saw Mike Watt open for Primus one time, but I can't really remember what the music was like or if I enjoyed it.

Playboy was quite good for a while. There is a fair variety of girls in it, though admittedly the blonde caucasian dominates. (That's a nice thought

) I found a few of the playmates to actually look remarkably unaltered too, so either they were, or they were done well. Either way is okay by me. I just found I didn't read it anymore. You know, interview with sports personality I didn't care about, reviews of terribly trendy music I didn't care about. The movie reviews and some of their other articles were good, but not god enough to justify keeping it. I was often tempted to send them reviews of comics. It's a men's magazine, surely there's room for that. Maybe I still will....

I'd go ahead and send them the articles about comics...they have published Harlan Ellison's musings on comics, and they now review video games.

I did get the issue with Tiffany in it because the Playmate was a redhead...I'm such a sad person when you get down to it. ^_^

I remember when Playboy was STILL pushing jazz and the like in the late 80's and early 90's and it seemed horribly out of step with the times. Now it just seems like it's trying to me Maxim with nipples and nowhere near the humor level.

As for the hardcore mags, for some reason they just strike me as tacky. I like video porn, but hard core pics don't do anything for me. Have I been messed up because of my early exposure to Playboy and being horrified as a teen by Penthouse?

I missed my usual garage sailing this morning in favour of running one myself. It hasn't been a rousing success, but lots more people know where I am now, and that's the really important thing.

The hard bit is that I've been here since 6:15 am, and it's now noon. And I'll be here till 7, maybe later for cleaning up. That's a long day. Do I deserve a big fat joint when I get home? Yes, I think I do.

Stripper Mom Poses Nude for Playboy

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A California woman who quit a stripping job so her 5-year-old daughter could return to her Christian school has now posed nude for Playboy's Web site, although disappointed church officials said the child would not be expelled this time.

Christina Silvas, 24, drew international headlines when her daughter was expelled from kindergarten two weeks ago at Capital Christian School in Sacramento on grounds her mother's job as a nude dancer violated the church's "Christian Philosophy" agreement.

Silvas, a single mother who has said she needed the job to pay the monthly $400 tuition, initially refused to quit the strip club but relented so her daughter could finish the year at the school some 90 miles (145 km) from San Francisco.

Since then Silvas, who is now working at a local radio station, has received numerous job offers including one from Playboy, which this week published the photo spread. Silvas said she flew to Chicago last week to pose for the photos for an undisclosed sum...
