Just a heads up, BK and I probably won't be in NYC untill 7ish or may be later. I'm going to work a half day on Friday, which means I leave DC around noon, and should be getting to Baltimore around 1ish. If BK is ready to go right away then we'll probably be hitting NYC just in time for rush hour. Or we may hang around Baltimore for a little while, and try to pull into NYC after rush hour.

You'll be going in the opposite direction to regular rush hour for the most part...You may hit traffic once you're in NYC.

I don't drive, but I would say 4:30–6:30 is a rough estimate for rush hour duration.

Yeah traffic should not be a major issue coming in. esp if your coming in south avoiding manhattan and traveling through the boroughs.

You might feel like staying in friday night for the most part but if you guys fee like hitting manhattan for a bit there are a few solid bars stuff you might want to hit that any of us NYC Locals could tell ya about.

I'm proably not goign to be at the party Saturday night since my band is actually playing in Brooklyn the 26th. But for any other weekend festivities, i can contribute certainly part of any neccesary cash and or alchohol.

5th Street & Ave A, I believe. The bar with the mad lunchbox collection.

Take the F train at Jay Street/Boro Hall and get off at Second Ave in Manhattan. It'll leave you at Houston & Allen Street, walk toward Katz's Deli and past until you hit Essex (it becomes Ave A) Turn left and walk to 5th, then right. Ace Bar is in the middle of the block.

Just get back before we finish off the Jack
