Sigh. Looks like there's no escape.
Things are really rolling. I asked my brother for help on the website. I'm also going to get my ex-roommate Krew if he can help out. We'll be planning the site for the next month, and all three of us are free of school and employment for the month of December. After that, we'll be in tweaking mode. I'm thinking that if we have a decent backlog ready we can go live as of March or thereabouts. Maybe we can do a preview with Sax and Lentil's Valentine's story the month before.
My brother has also caught the bug and is currently locked up in his room working out his Shifter story.
I have a couple other surprises I'm working on that I'm keeping under wraps for fear of jinxing them.
When we know we're ready to roll, I'm hoping to really publicize, even outside of the 'net. I've been looking for an excuse to poster around my new home. I was even thinking of making up fake flyers for the fictitious club from "Name's Not Down" and passing them around.
For now, it's good that we have a core group of creators to establish the Shifterverse. If everyone's serious about a potential "real" comic, then we should hold off until we have enough quality stories to fill something like a four issue series. I think it would be ginchy if we pulled it off, though.
