And do you have an actual physical copy of this volume in your possession? Because I'd love to see some interior shots.

Saint Keggers
03:27 / 20.12.07
No, I dont own it. I just found out about it on the Punisher page of wikkipedia

Liger Null
03:29 / 20.12.07
Aw, that's too bad.

Wait a sec...are you sure it's not one of those Stephen Colbert-deals where he screws around with the wikipedia?

Saint Keggers
03:30 / 20.12.07
That would be hillarious!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
03:31 / 20.12.07
I actually remember the house ads for the Punisher/Archie comic, back when it came out in the Nineties. It's very much a real thing.

Hey, Decadent! What are you up to, this fine evening?

Holy Shit! Archie's ass is toast!

That movie must have rubbed off on me...

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
03:36 / 20.12.07
Just think--if he'd gone to Ivy Town, we could have had an Atom / Punisher team-up. Which would have been just as weird.

Liger Null
03:38 / 20.12.07
And if he'd gone to Gotham...well, I don't need to spell it out, do I?

Liger Null
03:42 / 20.12.07
Actually, a Batman-Punisher teamup would be kind of redundant, wouldn't it?

Saint Keggers
03:43 / 20.12.07
yes. yes you do. spell it out. go ahead. I dare you.

Saint Keggers

But the conflict over to kill or not to kill. That is the question. (actually the question is another superhero who wears a trenchcoat and fedora)

Liger Null
03:45 / 20.12.07
Look back one post.

Or two, now.

This Sunday
03:45 / 20.12.07
Either there were two of them, or there was one where half was from the Riverside end and half from the Punisher's PoV. But, yes, very real.

I'm debating, at the moment, early bed or a pot of coffee, with the coffee currently in the lead.

How's everyone doing tonight?

But the conflict over to kill or not to kill. That is the question.

True. But the contrast still isn't as intriguing as Punisher/Archie.

Or, for that matter, Batman/Scooby-doo.

Liger Null
03:49 / 20.12.07
I'm doing alright. I have tomorrow off work.

How did your visit with the grandparents go, Deca?

Saint Keggers
03:50 / 20.12.07
or Thor/Care Bears?

This Sunday
03:50 / 20.12.07
So tired I missed a whole page of lateshift, apparently.

Liger Null
03:53 / 20.12.07
You need more coffee.

Still going, and going quite well, actually. And a good reminder of where I get my habit of keeping weird hours from. I think we all slept through most of the midday, and wouldn't doubt to see them up at around three this morning.

And, V, don't even joke about Thor/Care Bears. If they're willing to turn him into a frog every now and then, how far off could a Care Bear be?

Actually, there was supposed to be a Ghost Rider/Casper follow-up crossover, but it never happened. Scripted and some art done and everything. Truth.

Mad truth.

Was there ever an Archie/Scooby-Doo team-up?

It seems like a natural fit.

This Sunday
03:58 / 20.12.07
To the best of my knowledge, no Archie/Scooby crossover. Though I do have an issue of Betty & Veronica with Shaggy clearly drawn in a crowd scene.

There has been Batman/Punisher, though. Twice. One of them was written by Chuck Dixon and had the Joker sane and in an Armani. (A punishment which, having been weathered, now entitles me to three truly decadent sins at some point in the future, if the scales of life are fair.)

I'm envious. My grandma once berated me for staying up past 10:00pm.

It was a Saturday night.

And did I mention that I was twenty years old at the time?

I hope she at least (thought she) had a specific reason, and it wasn't just on general principle. Otherwise that's horrible. And pretty funny.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
04:06 / 20.12.07
Geez.

Okay, so, does anybody get the appeal of Weeds? Because I'm just not seeing it.

Nope, she was just on some kind of weird power trip. And it WAS pretty funny.

And as for the appeal of Weeds, I think it's that it's a TV show about smokin' the reefer. How Shocking!!!

I've never seen the show myself, but my mom likes it.

Good night Venger!

This Sunday
04:18 / 20.12.07
Night, V.

I'm kinda glad I've never seen an episode of Weeds. I think it would annoy me, and that's enough risk for me.

On the other hand, I was reeducated earlier today on just how entertaining early Farscape was.

I thought the same thing about Futurama when it first came out, and boy was I wrong.

Weeds does sound pretty boring in comparison though.

This Sunday
05:05 / 20.12.07
See, I just thought Futurama would bore me. Now, this does go a ways to demonstrating how wrong I can be, but Weeds on the other hand, I suspect would actively annoy. It seems very teehee-edgy.

And semi-connected, did anyone finish the season of Pushing Daisies? Even with the edition of Paul, I couldn't stick with it. The protagonist annoys me that much. But I want to know how it's going.

Saint Keggers
02:49 / 21.12.07
Yeah, he annoys me too. Actually, they all do. I couldnt stick with it. They should get rid of the whole cast and just have the narrator telling us what's happening.

This Sunday
03:16 / 21.12.07
How you doing tonight, V?

I've been suckered into not one but two, two whole cases of coding people's websites before dawn. So I'm diligently not doing that until I absolutely have to.

Saint Keggers
03:24 / 21.12.07
Im doing very good. Im pretty much finished with the evil mural project, just some touch ups to do and its looking soooo much better than ithought it could.

I have 60 bottles of wine on the kitchen floor back at my place and another 54-60 brewing as I type. When I get back home the wine is flowing and my Thank God Its Over celebration begins!
