Wait one fucking minute! Bars give out free drinks on your brithday???

Jake, Colossus of Clout
22:57 / 13.06.06
Any bar worth going to will give you a free drink (usually a shot).

Saint Keggers
22:59 / 13.06.06
Why did I not know this??
Birthday on saturday, so unless I get involved in some suprise party or something I will head out after moving one of my friends.

Oh aye.

I only heard of it here a couple of days ago. Read the wikipedia and then an interview with the writer/artist on fluxblog.

Bought them all in a oner on impulse and haven't regretted it one iota. Sheer unrestrained glee. Like Finder says inthread, it is the very definition of joycore.

Whoah, tis loads of Barbebirthdays this coming weekend and no mistake! Happy birthday both of you!

Usually the bar have to know you to give you free beer.

Jake, Colossus of Clout
23:06 / 13.06.06
Most places up here will give you a shot of Jaegermeister. Probably because you'll have to buy a beer to get the fucking taste out of your mouth.

Hi, Django!

I second (or third, depending on double-postage) those birthday wishes. All the very best people are born at this time of year. Apart from the ones that aren't. But happy happy very happy birthday for Friday and Saturday, you two!

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:12 / 13.06.06
Meh. My birthday has been and gone 14 dys hence. But 'twas fun.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:15 / 13.06.06
And I'm sure there were free drinks at the bar. Oh yes. If not Jaegermeister...then something else. I don't remember.

iamus
23:18 / 13.06.06
Well, I know the staff and the managment of my venue of choice quite well, so free drinkage should be easy to aquire. If not, I'll play the birthday card to those willing to pay for them.

I'll probably be trying for both.

Thanks for the well-wishes guys! Happy Birthday Keggers! Happy Birthday Django!

Come to think of it... I don't think I've had jaegermeister ever... or did we drink it in Schiporst, Stoatie?

I suppose if you can remember drinking jaegermeister, you haven't drunk enough, then.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:20 / 13.06.06
Hppybthdy iamus!

Saint Keggers
23:22 / 13.06.06
What does jaegermeister taste like? I think I may be confusing it with Goldschlagger.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:22 / 13.06.06
And hippo bath day Keggers

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:23 / 13.06.06
Hmmm. My feeble memory (which is wrong) says... bitters? But stronger?

Saint Keggers
23:24 / 13.06.06
How rude of me!

Happy birthday to the two of you. And happy unbirthday to whoever's unbirthday it is.

Jake, Colossus of Clout
23:24 / 13.06.06
It's licorice-y and vile.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:26 / 13.06.06
Um. Lickerish is not good in an alcoholic drink - unless you have drunk other suffiecient non-liquoricische beverages to drown the taste and your better judgement at the same time, in my (thankfully limited) experience.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:27 / 13.06.06
It is so not my birthday any more. But best regards to you all, wherever or whenever you may be. That's my motto.

Jake, Colossus of Clout
23:32 / 13.06.06
Hear, hear! I hope everyone is well.

If you think straight licorice liqueur is bad, this is what the club rats and amateur drinkers are into these days...

The Jager Bomb

1 oz. Jagermeister
1 oz Red Bull

Served in a large shot glass or rocks glass

I'm against stupid shots as it is, but this is the height of yuck, as far as I'm concerned.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
23:33 / 13.06.06
We definitely drank Jaegermeister in Schiphorst. At least I did- I assume you probably did as well. I think maybe the Saturday night?

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:36 / 13.06.06
Jaegermeister inna Schiphorst - yes, I think I might have done by then... we did pretty much drink the place dry each night, didn't we?

The jaeger bomb: ugh ugh and more ugh. Red Bull is never a good idea, bt that sounds vile.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
23:36 / 13.06.06
Ooh, I don't touch Red Bull anymore. It gives me hideous depression come-downs. It's on a par with speed, I reckon.

Saint Keggers
23:38 / 13.06.06
Liquid Cocaine why I associated Jaeggermeister with Goldschlagger

1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1/2 oz Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
1/2 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:39 / 13.06.06
It's a cocktail made of registered trademarks... are you sure you can drink that without infringing someone's patent?

Saint Keggers
23:41 / 13.06.06
I think Im pretty safe as long as I dont try to sell my urine afterwards.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:44 / 13.06.06
But your intestinal tract could become a repository for teh fruit of someone else's long-standing ancient booze-idea!

Saint Keggers
23:53 / 13.06.06
People are advised to stay away from my intestival tract. My religious tracts are a different story.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
23:54 / 13.06.06
Wonder what Jack Chick's intestinal tract looks like?

Mon Oncle Ignatius
23:56 / 13.06.06
A close relative of mine once drafted a series of semi-serious religious tracts. Ze printend them up, tri-folded them and gave them out in public. I was very pleased one drunken night returning home from hir house to pick one up discarded in the gutter, jut like a proper piece of junk god-bothering.

Mon Oncle Ignatius
00:21 / 14.06.06
And then I looked at the clock. I saw it was late. I fell asleep.

G'night, all!

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
