OK. No new admissions since September, by the looks of it. I've contacted Tom to talk about possible ways to speed the plow on admissions, but so far no response.
At this point, the only thing preventing us from getting people in ourselves is this database of users that Tom is keeping, people who are not on which notionally get killed. However, if he isn't updating passed applicants at this point, I imagine that he is also not monitoring or updating that list. This being the case, it may be time to start thinking about ways to try to insource applications.
I think I have a functional way to do this. It involves more legwork than the current method, and might need some helpers, but it could be made to work, as long as Tom is kept updated on who was being let in - in case that whitelist is still operational.
Ideally, I'd like to hear back from Tom on what I suggested, but he is clearly extremely occupied at present, so... well, I'm not sure what the "so" is there. I suppose how long we wait for guidance before working out a new method. |
