Thanks for the link Morpheus. I suppose Iran has been on the American Government's cards for a long, long, time now. I mean, if one were playing a giant game of Risk against an opponent like China, it might be considered a wise move to try and get a better foothold in the Middle-East, especially with all that crude oil (steel, iron, etc) being bought up by the competition.
But of course this is all conjecture, as it was the day I watched the Twin Towers brought down on TV and the word Afghanistan rang around the world like a giant bell. Similarly, it took one hell of a racist leap to jump from Afghanistan to Iraq, but then some of us saw that one coming a long way off as well.
The saddest thing is (IMHO) many of us (in society in general) are so secure in the present that we forget the past, and mock the future. Everything changes... However, this also means that an invasion of Iran is not definately going to take place, even if the plans are gathering dust in the White House.
