Anyone? (and Im also checking the barb-time to compare it to me time)

Aertho
02:39 / 18.04.05
11:38. Out of the bath. My pants are TIGHT.

Hi all.

Saint Keggers
02:41 / 18.04.05
That sounded like the start of a beautiful haiku.

Aertho
02:43 / 18.04.05
It's too bad I lack any kind of grace.

Is Mordant here, and is ze still throwing ducks and food?

Saint Keggers
02:45 / 18.04.05
Thats really convinient. If he yells 'Duck!' not only do you know what he's throwing, but you also know what to do!!

Sekhmet
03:48 / 18.04.05
Why am I awake, dammit?

I mean... Hi. What's up?

Sekhmet
03:51 / 18.04.05
This is the part where I hear a hollow echo, and look at the timestamps and realize no one has posted for an hour, and that I'm talking to myself, isn't it?

Drat.

Rachel Melmoth
04:01 / 18.04.05
Er... well, I'm here if that counts. I had a friend who was showing up around four or five, and she just called to say she'd be another hour, so I think I'll be here a while, actually.

charrellz
04:06 / 18.04.05
Hey look, a lateshift! Sleep sounds boring tonight, so I think I'll just set up camp here. Any objections can be forwarded here.

Is it odd that the google image search results that gave me that also gave me John Ashcroft and a crate with a lawnmower blade on it? Or is that pretty standard? Moreover, what the hell am I talking about?

Rachel Melmoth
04:07 / 18.04.05
No, I would think "rabid wombat" about summed up Ashcroft, actually.

Sekhmet
04:24 / 18.04.05
(*blink*)

Man, it's obviously been a long time since I played MtG.

I'm awake and bored. Someone entertain me. Can anyone dance?

Rachel Melmoth
04:35 / 18.04.05
I try. But my fiancee insists that what I do is not dancing, but "bouncing like an adrenaline-crazed lemur."

Actually, if that's so it might be more entertaining than dancing anyway...

Sekhmet
04:38 / 18.04.05
I should say. I like lemurs.

I just spent half an hour going through boxes of comics looking for three issues of Promethea that have gone missing...

Sekhmet
04:51 / 18.04.05
Bored bored bored bored bored.

Going to sleep, I suppose. 'Night Barbelith!

charrellz
04:51 / 18.04.05
So, am I the only one who writes four different versions of a post, then gives up and does something else?

Sekhmet
04:55 / 18.04.05
Yes. You're the only one, and it means you have issues. Probably with your father. It's usually the father.

charrellz
04:56 / 18.04.05
Damn, with Sekhmet gone, that leaves...uh...(1 plus 2 plus 2 plus 1, carry the three, divide by the square route of a jelly donut)....me.

Alone. All alone.

charrellz
04:57 / 18.04.05
Ze is back! Ze lied to me! And I typed too slow to notice!

Sekhmet
05:00 / 18.04.05
This isn't Sekhmet. It's, er... the Ghost of Sekhmet Passed (Out).

So, what, nobody here but us Texans?

charrellz
05:01 / 18.04.05
Well, we are about 6 hours behind them Londoners. I think they should start waking up pretty soon.

Sekhmet
05:04 / 18.04.05
Probably so. That's the thing that confuses me about Lateshift; whose Late is it?

I guess it's always late somewhere...

charrellz
05:07 / 18.04.05
Or to be more UK-friendly, the sun never rises on the lateshift.

Pappa Cass
05:09 / 18.04.05
Late. Very late. Reading about Dominionists when not playing online video games(tech support, oh how I love ya). Also reading about shrooms and weed via a proxy or three.

The fact that it's 2:10(by the time this post comes out) EST in New Jersey and I'm not snoring is nothing short of a miracle

Sekhmet
05:10 / 18.04.05
Careful, now. All the former colonies will get riled up.

So what have you been up to recently? Anything interesting?

Sekhmet
05:11 / 18.04.05
Hallo, Cassius! My, you're up later than we are.

charrellz
05:13 / 18.04.05
If I weren't so tired that I can't see quite right out of my left eye, I'd be gaming. Or maybe reading. Possibly both if the game is turn based.

charrellz
05:15 / 18.04.05
Damn, the roommate just went to bed, meaning no more music or crinkling of food wrappers to satiate the undieing hunger of a college student.

Sekhmet
05:15 / 18.04.05
I'm reading comics, but my comprehension level is dropping by the second.

charrellz
05:16 / 18.04.05
Aren't you reading Prometheus? I think the dropping comprehension level is part of the whole idea.

Pappa Cass
05:21 / 18.04.05
Actually, yeah. I've just got done applying to Rutgers graduate school for Library Science(because after doing 4 years of tech support it's either that or the bell tower). Umm...working off and on with my book, lecturing on psychedelics for my friends' events(did a good one a few months back about the history of psychedelics). Going to a big conference on dominionism. Trying not to worry about TMI type stuff. Botching that roll. Wondering what I want for food.

I'm not really playing the games, per se, as much as creatively failing(shoot shoot dodge dodge CRASH! Wow, I'm tired).

Mrr. I just finished re-reading Kill Your Boyfriend, actually. I found it when I was riffling through the boxes. I have all kinds of crap in there I didn't even know about; half of it probably isn't even mine.

Now you've made me hungry, with your talk of wrappers... what is there to eat?

(*rummages*)

Mmm. Blue Bell Cookies & Cream.

Pappa Cass
05:23 / 18.04.05
Mmm..Prometheus. That reminds me, I need to bring esoteric books with me that I can read at work and not get the frowny face.

Can you recommend any?

Oh, and a quick FYI. The Cannabis Grow Bible is a no no. Trust me. I suggested it to my SO and she almost socked me in the face with a pillow. My argument that anyone who isn't on SOMETHING who works here is only here for about a week fell on deaf ears.

Sekhmet
05:24 / 18.04.05
Dominionism is a scary scary subject to be studying at this hour. I would have nightmares.

Pappa Cass
05:25 / 18.04.05
Blue Bell Cookies and Cream? I've got this vaccum sealed Ready to Eat Masala Rice. They are about $2 a pop and are actually pretty ok. Most of them are a bit spicy, but I've found two or three flavours that don't make you think you've eaten an incense charcoal.

I've got Apple Jacks but no milk (or bowls or spoons for that matter). Twizzlers, but the wrapper is way to loud. Popcorn, but the whole hall would kill me because of the smell, and the nearest microwave is down 4 flights of stairs.

And to make things worse, I'm running low on Dr. Pepper.
