Hello shifters. Where is Sally? I want to know about her cute haircut.
Slightly, a lovely Lither said something to me this morning about a problem I have been having which has completely spiralled me into my own head.
She said (and I am para-phrasing) that stepping out of your mind and focusing on your physical self, for example; being aware that you love to smell flowers, is a really good way of passing through difficult periods of thought. And that we spend so much time thinking and not enough time being.
Ah, I wish I could say it like she did.
So I wore my Grandad's watch today, to remind myself to feel instead of just think, and it did help. And I especially liked the idea of feeling time passing.
I think the point is that you may not be able to do anything about the problem thought-wise, but you can help yourself by acknowledging the other parts of you that are just as vital as thinking.
