It just struck me as quite strange that our US friends get to chat with us when most of us are fairly whammed. Can you imagine if there was a similar arrangement where people who were lightly drunk and/or bored from India had a board we could pop into in the mid afternoon and confuse them with our time-shifted routine. I have the urge to find one and do so tomorrow.
I always think Late Shift threads are quite funny cos I'm usually at work and everyone else in the UK is hammered. Whereas when the rest of the Brit 'lithers are having sensible conversations in the afternoon I'm off my tits.
