Wow. Pride. I just made pizza dough and went to check on it - and it's risen in a lovely big puff of brain-matter-squidgyness.
This doesn't mean anything, of course, until the pizzas are made and turn out well, but so far I'm all chuffed with myself.

I just bought the latest Patrick McGrath novel, cos I think my sleep pattern's too fucked to work properly tonight and I needed something to get me through.

Though I still have six episodes left of Millennium's second season to watch... but I'm trying to ration myself, cos I can't afford season 3 until next month.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to say, I woke up unreasonably early this morning and I just finished watching 12 Angry Men. What a great movie.

Was musing on the possibility of remaking it, perhaps with Morgan Freeman in the Henry Fonda role and Gene Hackman in the Lee J Cobb role. Any other (brighter) ideas?

Figs is weird though...those things you get at xmas that come all squashed into a fig coffin...and you have to retrieve them with a pointy fig stick,,,,urgh

I wish i'd joined you. My Web Fu has failed me coming up with the ...Figs stuck in a long sticky plastic container that comes with a long plastic trident like instrument for eating the sticky figs that never come out the sticky plastic box anyway...and when they do they taste like shit...so you have to try and have a go at cracking a brazilnut instead...and that's always a waste of time...
