And no more seven pages of it.

Eugh. I've been talking about beef-burgers and suddenly my appetite feels like it's caught up from the last week. Hot chocolate might have to do.

gb, can I still come in if I have a vague east London accent? I mean, I can't help it, I live there.

Oh please, I'll be your mate. You can even have one of my fruit pastilles.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
03:48 / 02.01.05
That would certainly keep me awake...

I've been worried about this all day, having been stared at by a can of chick peas - do they really run the world ?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
22:35 / 02.01.05
It's not quite as simple as that...

...but effectively yes.

I'm a bit worried about the quality of Jessica Stevenson's new show.

Alex's Grandma
22:41 / 02.01.05
Also, isn't Sim City 2 so much more innaresting than so-called " life " ?
They're just ants people, aren't they ?
Just ants.

Oi! Jess can do no wrong!

oh all right then ...

and Alex? It's when you start talking to tins of sliced pineapple that you need to worry.

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!
22:47 / 02.01.05
I really think she can, especially with this new comedy written by the wholly talented scribe of... My Family. Ergh.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I still think she's lovely. I just wonder why she chose this. Although, I imagine it won't exactly go astray when it comes to viewers...

Brigade du jour
22:55 / 02.01.05
You know, Suedey, I was probably going to watch her new series just cos she's in it, but now you've told me who wrote it? Shudder.

And some people think My Family is actually edgy. Their standards are quite clearly very different to ... well, mine for a start.

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!
23:00 / 02.01.05
The Radio Times called it predictable and safe.

Brigade du jour
23:02 / 02.01.05
Jesus.

Maybe Spaced series three wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. Speaking of which, did I hear something about them planning to a series three in about ten or twenty years' time when all the characters are older and still living in the same flat? Or was that my own crazy idea?

Bed Head
23:04 / 02.01.05
Alex, surely you’re only trying to convince yourself that so you’ll feel better about pouring boiling water over passers-by from your first floor window. People aren’t ants. Could an ant invent the guillotine? Pah, they wish. Probably.

Who is this Jessica Stevenson dude, anyway?

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!
23:04 / 02.01.05
No, I think that's an idea that was floating around. I think it was more "if we did a series 3, it would be..." how you mentioned, more than something planned to happen.

But I imagine it would be great. Have you seen the documentary on the DVD collection? That got me a bit excited for more.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

I dunno... quit while you're ahead, I says.

Look what happened to Frazier.

Suedey, I'm still stewing about having already bought each series separately on dvd.

Is it really worth buying again so I can get the third disc?

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!
23:08 / 02.01.05
Oh, I'm perfectly happy with there being no more series of Spaced, ever. But I'm also perfectly confident that they have the talent to pull something like that off pretty easily.

Either way, I win!

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!
23:11 / 02.01.05
JS Brigade: I wouldn't say it was worth a purchase, but if you could trade the old ones and get it nice and cheap or something it might be worth it.

Or you could look on a Spaced thread on the board somewhere and read about the little bit I'm talking about...

Bed Head! Hello! Jessica Stevenson is a fine gifted comic performer, and one of the fine pair who wrote and starred in Spaced.

She was also the dumpy next-door neighbour in The Royle Family. Was her name Carol? I forget?

And she was Shaun's sort-of alter-ego in Shaun Of The Dead - "glad somebody made it!"

Brigade du jour

That's about what I thought Suedey. Thanks for the advice.

Or I may just give my old ones to my recently-converted friend and get the box set for myself!

My body clock is shot to fuck with all these holidays - was just watching that crappy film with the river. The Sky at Night is on now at least.

Morning all.
