Oh, I get it. Rock isn't the shiniest novelty on the block. Less people interested in making music are learning to play archaic 'instuments' and instead tweak around with some software. It's not what the hip kids are doing. I get it.
This does lead me to ask, where the hell have you been? Rock isn't the leading edge of the industry, or the leading edge of new music. It hasn't been in a very long time. It never will be again. I suppose some people will say, that means it's dead.
I know this might be hard for you kids to grasp, short attention span and all, but try and trust your granddad on this. He's seen it before. Rock is far from dead. Hell, if you like music instead of novelty, blues isn't even dead. |
