Look at the Gorillaz- damon albarn knew there was no future in blur- so he embraced new music.

A good industry source of mine explained how Paul McCartney and Ringo Star actually secretly commisioned Danger mouse to make the Grey album in a bid to win over new young fans who didn't care about old rock dinosaurs. Notice how despite DM's current success nothing more than a cease and desist has ever been issued by the beatles... could it be they are secretly involved.

As a self-aware humaton (contradiction in terms? perhaps), I demand the right to listen to music made by and for humatons.

Although, in my heart there will always be a place for music made by dead people. And dead bands.

I still dream of a Pink Floyd reunion concert (including, if possible, Sid Barret)
