Well, there's a line of bruises underneath them, ariadne. I looked where it was, and it's on the same tube line in the same zone as where I intended on staying. Just need that pesky job.

And its the other way round keggers; We usually get kicked off the gym-bus on the way back from competitions and performances at macdonalds, so they're thoroughly scared of us.

And not forgetting MFR, mister bear. Charity auction weekend, where you can usually buy £4 of black pudding tokens for just £3!! Its so amazingly lame, yet they managed to get something like £110k from it last year, in one weekend. How, I'll never know.

Well, it's hard to say, praying mantis - I can imagine they would, especially climbing hills, but for the short while I tried them (most of today's ride was on my old bike) I was too scared to push it! But you do feel the power as you pull up as well as push down, so it can't help but boost your speed.

Just looking back at this thread and realising I'm posting on too many boards - I didn't think anyone here would be interested in SPDs! So my previous post was a bit misleading. But yeah, I tried the clips for a while and they were great. Now i'm unsure whether it's worth altering the pedals on my hybrid (probably not) or waiting till i get a road bike.

I certainly will rant and shout and scream if I ever make it to London. I've been for a total of, uh, a week. Half of it when I was 3, half of it last year. It's big, it's scary, and I will grab onto absolutely anyone and everyone, and would very much like to grab on to y...wait. Catch up, you said it better than I did.

Im taking amoxcycillin for a chest infection. It's supposed to make me feel better. Riight.

Yes, ginger, they clip your feet to the pedals, and it's the fear of falling that makes it all worthwhile. Cycling message boards are full of people tumbling at traffic lights, usually in front of attractive people they fancy. My sister did a spectactular tip-over just the other week. But today I managed not to fall off so I feel all smug.

I dont actually have any aunties, so have never experienced this phenomenon. Permission granted to be my auntie. Bedhead, would you prefer uncle status? You may have either.

I am lacking huge gaps in my family. I have no: aunties, uncles, cousins, grannies or grandpas. Which is why Im gonna have to reproduce at a rate of noughts to catch up. Maybe another day, though.

My niece is great, cause she gets so embarrased when you mention Connor. Except I think she's 2 timing him with Jamie. Ach, she's gorgeous, she can have any man she wants, so long as he's about 7.

Found out today that my two year old, I repeat two year old nephew has a waist 4 inches smaller than mine. How slightly ooky is that?
As for the big-person-imposing-their-ambitions-onto-small-person: Absolute rubbish. I know my other niece wishes to be a world champion gymnast. She whispered it to me when I was changing her nappy.

I am applying as a hat-maker's personal assistant. I wanted to be a milliner for years.
